Rickyhunt
Who do you think is going to die in the winds of winter? I think Stannis Victorian Tommen Mycella and a lot of nights watch men will die. I also believe the others will cross the wall at the end of the book. Gerey Targaryen
Stanley, probably. Thomas is definitely going to croak, not so sure about Myrcella. I, for some reason, believe Victarion is actually going to live to see the end (or maybe that's just my wishful thinking). The Nights Watch definitely will fall apart at one point or another if it hasn't already.
James Steller
I would like the Boltons to die and be done with in time for Stannis to go fight the Others.
Pancakes1800
Depends on how fast Dany can get to Westeros. Once the Dance of Dragons v2 happens, people will start dropping like flies. My guess is Stannis, Shireen, Victarion, Barristan, Tommen, Myrcella, Margery, Brienne, Garlan, Willas, Asha, Roose, Ramsay, Lancel, Grenn, Penny, Hizdhar, Jeyne. And if Dany gets to Westeros and the Dance of Dragons v2 happens then fAegon, Arianne, Doran, Aero, All of the Sand Snakes(save maybe Sarella and some of the younger ones like Loreza and Dorea)
The Drunkard
Victarion and the Boltons are the only ones I'd put money on.

ASOIAF_Ali
Why Brienne and the Bolton's? Too soon to end their arc. I think the Boltons have too many enemies to survive, but I don't think they will both die. I think Roose may survive. I think Brienne will survive for now. ShelbySmythe
Although I know that characters are going to die in The Winds of Winter, I'm so ambivalent as to who. Those who I'm certain are going to live and are: 1) Daenerys Targaryen 2) Bran Stark 3) Sansa Stark I think this because it would make no sense for these three to die. Daenerys's story has been building up to the invasion of Westeros. To kill her off would be ludicrous, as she is (in my opinion, at least) the main character, and what the story revolves around. There is no way Bran is going to die, I think everyone is in agreement with that. He just seems way too important. Although Sansa might not seem as important as the previous two, Martin is obviously setting her up for great things. To have her die after all of Littlefinger's scheming would be disappointing. Not for a Sansa fan, but for a fan in general. It just wouldn't make sense. These three will, in my opinion, live on. While not certain, I think the following have a high chance of survival, just because their story's seem very important: 1) Cersei Lannister 2) Samwell Tarly 3) Davos Seaworth These three all have one thing in common. They each have a story no-one else can tell. They are the only POV's in their areas, and their story's are still progressing. Cersei is the only one who can tell us the happenings at King's Landing. Davos must still find Rickon. And Samwell will give us an insight into the plots of the Citadel. The rest could go either way. Although I think that Arianne, Arya and Tyrion are all playing fairly important roles, I can't be certain about their survival. If I had to chose, Arianne would probably be the one to survive. I'm not going to comment on certain deaths. Whilst Connington is ultimately destined to die a grey death, I can see him living throughout the next book, chronicling his battle with Greyscale as he tries to seat Aegon on the Throne. But then again, he might die during the Battle for Storm's End, and Arianne might pick up Aegon's story. You can never really tell. The same goes with Victarion. He has some unfinished business with the Crow's Eye, but his death may be around the corner. And I'm not even going to guess with Jaime/Brienne/Stoneheart. I just don't know what's going to happen there.
JonSnowed
Ideally I would use the spoiler tag here but Ian Beattie (actor who player Meryn Trant in the show) has stated in an interview that some people who died in S5 of the show will die early in Winds. The good thing is that he doesn't name them but I would imagine this is almost certainly Barristan, Shireen and possibly Stannis. Anyway to answer the original question I would say Shireen, Tommen, Barristan, one of the Boltons (maybe both), , Victorian, Margery, Mycella, possibly Jon Con/Young Griff also if this really is the penultimate book. The ones I am confident will survive the book are Dany (expect her to die in the final book), Jon (he's getting resurrected and will be there to the end), Tyrion (he's safe in my eyes), Arya (I think she will kill Dany), Sam (pretty sure he will do something in the final book) and Bran. aryagonnakill#2
Why would a minor dead character in the show have any idea what GRRM was going to write in the next book.
