DireWolfSpirit
Have been enjoying Showtime airing Spike Lee's documentary on MJ (Michael Jacksons Journey from Motown to Off the Wall). Mike was 20 yrs of age in 1979, when "Off the Wall" basically set the table for the post disco era of pop music. Producers, writers, dancers, actors, and musicians, one after another, testifying on how transformative Michaels work was for them (then and now). Even Kobe's (NBA) interviewed, talking about MJ's influence on him. Anyways Spike knows how to document a journey, i'd def recommend taking in the story. 37 yrs ago this happened-
DireWolfSpirit
^^^ 1979 was also a interesting year in Rock as well. There were the tragic Who concert deaths, you had that Zeppelin release of "In Through the Out Door" also Judas Priest's "Hell Bent for Leather" and ACDC's "Highway to Hell" releases.
