  1. I see some of the same themes here and in Fevre Dream. The fight against slavery. Existential threats on humans. The Others are creatures like the vampires. The Starks, like Sour Billy helping the bad side of the vampires, will help the Others.
  2. Quhuru mo, the captain who visited and honored Daenerys.
  3. Rhaegar was not the favored son. Perhaps Varys saw a weakness in Rhaegar. Inconsistency. Fear of wielding authority. Lack of skills at politics. Lack of interest in learning economics. Prince Viserys would have grown into a different man if his childhood had been easier. He would be preferable to Rhaegar.
  4. Doran has too many liabilities. The Sandsnakes. Arrianne is another big disadvantage for him. I think Darkstar will outplay the Martells. He’s too interesting of a character to stay in the background. Darkstar will drag Dorne into war with the Lannisters and the Martells will be first to perish.
  5. Robert was bad at governance. Robb Stark started a rebellion. Ned was ineffective as the hand. Jon’s treason hurt the Watch.
  6. Many people have prophetic dreams and know the story of Azor Ahai. One of them had the economic means to send the dragon eggs.
  7. Dawn could be the Lightbringer. Jon Snow will most likely find his own Darkbringer and fight the new Sword of the Morning. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if a wight Jon Snow fought Edric Dayne in the future. I think so.
  8. Dany will have allies in the west before she comes. The people will have grown tired of the the Lannisters in the south. People will worry when the Others and their Stark servants control the north. Westeros will reach out to Dany and beg for help. Supplies will have to be brought from the East. Which Braavos, Free Volantis, and her followers will be happy to provide.
  9. The Freys enjoy Lannister protection. Hoster, Robb, and Tywin are gone. Walder outlived them all. He doesn’t need Aegon’s protection right now. The closest threats are the wolfpack and the Brotherhood. Roslin’s child is a future threat. I wouldn’t want Jeyne to birth Robb’s baby. That’s no good for peace.
  10. Personal interests can override religious faith. Just look at Robb. He swore an oath to Walder but his feelings for Jeyne turned him into an oathbreaker.
  11. The Bran-Joffrey comparison is fair. Bran will have more capacity for evil because he has no restraints. I would love it if the Reed girl could see Bran for what he is becomng and have to make the decision to take drastic action to stop him.
  12. Names in some instances could be correlated to the blood family. Tyrion = little Ty, for being the son of Tywin. Craster = Starc = Stark. Supports the belief that Craster is a Stark. There are clues to point the reader to this conclusion. Karstark = Stark Then the most important. Drogon = little Drogo.
  13. Godhood! What a scary thought to make Bran the Great Other. He doesn’t have the maturity to control his feelings. And no one to correct him. Kinda reminds you of Joffrey. The Starks kept the Greenseers strong through human sacrifice. The blood feed the trees and the trees feed the Greenseers. Ned broke the tradition and weakened the Greenseers. The Weirwood in Winterfell is the altar feeding all of the Greenseers. The Starks must always be present to feed the tree.
  14. House Tully will die with Edmure. A fitting punishment for what they did to the Goodbrooks. They deserve it for joining Robert’s Rebellion.
  15. Daenerys. Let’s pick up where A Dance With Dragons ended on the Dothraki Sea.
  16. There is no justice in your proposal. All the guilty are dead. It need not involve any more.
  17. Robb and Karstark. There were problems with that. Karstark was an important contributor to the rebellion. It was dumb to kill him. Robb should have pardoned Karstark. Jon made a bigger mistake when he killed Slynt. It was wrong ethically and even more wrong politically. Dany can execute the slavers because of their past crimes against humanity. She conquered them and not bound to accept their old laws. The wine bearing kids should be spared. And she did. The Meerenese lost. They have to accept Dany’s laws. She gets to set the rules.
  18. The triangle was Tyrion, Jon, and Arya. Arya’s age make that less likely with Tyrion. Jon died. He’ll be another Coldhands when he comes back. Arya is going crazy. This trio is out. It’s Petyr Baelish, Harry, and Sansa that’s gonna have a love triangle. Sansa loses both ways.
  19. Sometimes names are given after the fact. I wouldn’t think the Bloodstone Emperor was called that during his time. The name came after. Bloodstone because he was sacrificing blood to the stone. The stone is the black object that came from the sky. Sort of like the story in Heavy Metal.
  20. Arya’s chosen life will be filled with blood and grief. It’s not going to be a happy one.
  21. That would make Stannis a liar who allowed the most dangerous enemy of Westeros avoid punishment. He has not been recognized as a king and doesn’t have the power to pardon a big time criminal like Mance. It is very bad public relations.
  22. Jon Snow’s parents are Lyanna Stark and Mance Rayder. But let’s look at this theory. Do you think it’s easy to fool everybody at Starfall? Who saw Ashara take her own life? The parents of Jon being Ned and Ashara works within the plot. But something so important needed to happen. Important enough to fake her death and leave a life of entitlements behind. The only answer is she has to go into exile to raise Rhaegar’s child. She gave up raising her and Ned’s son, Jon. Aegon is a suspect. A Targaryen bastard. Ashara is loyal to the Targaryens. Jon has dark hair. He is the last you would suspect as a Targaryen. None of this complicated deception is justified to hide him. Ned could say he was his and Ashara’s bastard. Nobody would question that. But if there was a second child in the picture, with blonde hair, now that make things complex. But even a blonde bastard among the Daynes is easy to hide. Unless the child is so important that it was worth the sacrifices of three people to get him across to the Free Cities. The two suspects for the special baby are Aegon and Daenerys. The money is on Aegon.
