  1. Heleana only has two kids in the show right? I thought Cole was the father of those kids in the book. Was Larys the Hand at the time? Because that makes the foot scene horrible. True Horror.
Still good. In a “ I feel sad why couldn’t it just be something innocent with a wolf and piggies funny kinda way and not Uncle Euron creaks open the bedroom door.” Kinda way :o

  2. The foot scene was just something new I enjoyed. A misdirection, maybe? ( honestly no pun intended,)to distract the viewer. Just ties in creepily with the club foot and made me think of strip poker, piggies, boots, and hoisery meanings. The possibilities and meanings not the action or behavior. I suffer from a very immature and lack impulse control but I’m working on it

    Larys a foot fetish.

    The 14th post.

13 other people talking about nonsense.

Nobody talking about the Foot scene until the 14th post?! What’s wrong with you all!

13 and more of “to dark” and “Why didn’t she dracarys” Easy answers and  simple complaints! But what about the footing!
    Strip poker?
    Bootless and skinned hosiery?
    All those beautiful little piggies!
What about the stink of those pods? Hmmm yea…all wrapped up in stalkings like shackles, hiding in those boots… let me sniff the phumes of freedom….

Wait. What we talking about? I got distracted…uhm. :)

I can’t wait to discuss this subject after I spend some time watching it again

“My own face…is no longer a handsome one…if indeed it ever was.”
    - Looks up to family.-

    :Family:  “What the fuck!”
                - Family gags and dry heaving-

                 “Oh my God!”
                  -several vomiting-
                  “Why take that off?!”
                  “At the supper table?!”
                  “Well I’m no longer hungry.”
                 “Not the best timing Gramps”

    :Viserys: -Looks to Rhaenyra-

“What? Is it bad? You said it wasn’t that bad!”

    :Rhaenyra: -Represses gag-

“No, no, it’s fine. :gulp: It’s not that bad.”

:Alicent   “Ha! Wouldn’t be the first time she’s lied to you”

:Heleana:   “Why does Aemon have an erection?”

I'd say that Nettles being Daemon's daughter makes for a more interesting story.

    I agree.

I was considering the possibility, within the show, of Nettles mother being the serving Wench who offered a cup to Aegon. the significance of the scene i am still questioning.
Aegon takes a cup and replaces with another. Claps twice. Helaena claps spider. Larys drinks

The age would not fit but I like that It would be Daemon having children with all three factions, families? If he ended up sleeping with her.

Halaena’s prophecy this episode. “Hand turns loom. Spool of green, spool of black

I’ve been working on loom stuff. Was really happy to hear this dialogue. I shall have to work the weave and follow the threads until my thoughts untangle into a comprehensive post.

I love this subject, you got a friend to share ideas with me :)

  7. Foot fetish?
    Larys Strong?
    We talking about foot fuckers?!
…those arches…wool hosiery… princess piggy toes…the perfect pod, oh to get into those boots! The smell of wool on them little piggy’s…

That would have been awesome. It gives him a creepy character flaw that would work on many levels.

The  WHY of the lighting of the episode should be discussed not defamed.
Why is the choice made to show a character bathed in light at times and at other times shrouded in black night shadows? Is the light a character in the show? Are day, night, shadows also a character in the show? The choice is yours. Put on a thinking cap or don a jingle belled one.

I love day for night photography. My favorite example The Haunting directed by Robert Wise. A lot of people know him by his sci-fi work, The Day the Earth Stood Still. But the Haunting, That movie holds up as creepy and scary. Watch it! I dare ya!
If you watch it or even have seen it let me know. I shall reward you!

As to the city, it seemed triple-walled which makes me think Qarth immediately, but that's the book Qarth, not the show Qarth, which was depicted differently.

Yea I was thinking Qarth because of the triple walls. It looked like a bell tower at the center which made me think Norvos. But Norvos has steps leading to several bell towers I think.
I forget this is the show and not entirely the books where things are depicted different.

Makes me think of the casting choices of a previous Qarth character and a possible Driftmark connection. I need to do another reading.

Do you think you could get a 3D tour of the model on the site? The Valyria and Qarth miniature city and maybe the painted table?? Just tell me where to donate/kickstart. ;)
I could virtually walk around those city’s maybe read some graffiti on the walls, see what kinda sewer system they had, public fountains, and statues! :)

Understandable if ya don’t wanna comment.  No matter what ya say it’ll be interpreted as offensive to someone somewhere. Anyway thank you for the awesome site and time.

American showrunner describes a character as “women for Trump,”

    :)

I suspect a lot of dancing around (I'm probably wrong, usually am.) I do wish the characters would stick to be evil or good. None of this twilight. If the time of day has an effect. (( I’m probably wrong, usually am.))

They should use a very heavy John Ford style. Especially for Dunk and egg.

Rhaenyra and trying to turn that around for her and the children,

I agree. I think he had a Mayhaps wile he was reaffirming his wife. It would be heart crushing if he was telling her he would be willing to die so she could live a stronger life.
As if his guilt over his life choices were a sin that requires penance

?Laenor: Mayhaps I love my children to much.
