I don't remember, but I lost interest in all things Dorne once the Red Viper got killed and then when Doran's no plot/plot was revealed, I doubly lost interest. But, Show Dorne, might as well, since Show Oberyn has sex orgies non stop, no reason why a TV Dorne wake wouldn't be full of frenzied sex and random naked people eating grapes. It's in Feast, first Areoh's POV. Obara says it: "Thousands are crossing the sands afoot to climb the Boneway, so they may help Ellaria bring my father home. The septs are packed to bursting, and the red priests have lit their temple fires. In the pillow houses women are coupling with every man who comes to them, and refusing any coin". I remember very well because I posted that quote on my FB after Oberyn was killed in the show, telling my friends we all should do the same in his honour. Ok, you have me hearing and seeing an opening shot of Dorne. Perhaps something of the 'secret city' or whatever the hell they call it, the rest of the city around the Martell seat of Sunspear. Shot of..........the outside crowds with their 'To the Spears, and Vengeance for the Viper Chants," that type of thing, zoom in on a window of a second story building, THE Dornish version of THE brothel with interesting noises coming out, and on the other side of the window, you guessed it, all the free sex in Oberyn's name. It would be a nice tribute to Pedro and the Red Viper if they showed this massive outpouring of grief from the common people over his death....but, D&D, it will be heavy on the whores giving it away for free and light on the rest of it. I do wonder, does the Emmy panel insist on a certain amount of time in relation to lead, supporting, and guest, or does the show make those type of determinations? Dirty Jaime Does Porne does not have quite the same ring to it, but we can work with that. Now Arya needs to get to Braavos, and be told that Jaqen is in Porne, and she can have her training there. Jaqen can have adventures in Porne, too (with his attentive bathhouse attendant). Sandor can recuperate there (with his attentive nurse). Gendry can row up to the coast and complete his task (so rudely interrupted by Mel, but she's busy lighting Jon's fire). Littlefinger is too busy starting up THE Brothel North in the Vale, otherwise he would be there, too. Someone has to micromanage THE Brothel South in Littlefinger's place, though. Now that you pulled out that passage about Dorne's reaction to Oberyn's death, which I can so easily visualize as epic on camera, especially filmed in Seville, I am going to be disappointed when they don't do it, which I don't think they will....on occasion they surprise me with competence...but those occasions have come less and less.
