Stubby
Great story of the week. Shame the Abbott govt couldn't shell out for a couple of old blokes to fly to Canberra (I'm saddened but not surprised by that) but it's good to see the Aussie spirit hasn't disappeared. Stubby
This police report is great. It's just a little tale of a koala and its encounter with police. Extract: "SC Barry had to issue a move along direction to the koala for hindering traffic," says the police report. "After numerous warnings were issued, the koala failed to comply. A short foot pursuit occurred and the koala was eventually arrested and placed for safety in a police vehicle."

The Drunkard
This is pretty dodgy. It makes the hiding notes in the toilets method seem amateur. I have to wonder how someone manages to write a 3000 word essay for their Masters in 12 hours on a topic completely new to them and get a credit. Stubby
It seems Tony hasn't got what he wanted out of the G20 in political terms. His climate change denials are getting whacked at every turn, even if it is tacit criticism at this stage.

Why did he think the G20 leaders would give a rat's about the coalition's GP tax?
karaddin
Why did he think the G20 leaders would give a rat's about the coalition's GP tax? Yeah, it's...such an irrelevance to them and a minor piece of the deficit it's just bizarre. It's like he thought he would gain sympathy by whining about how unreasonable the Australian people and his political opposition are.
