Ser Scot A Ellison
SR,Those six books are the only Dune novels in existence. All others are figments of your imagination.
TannerSack
No,No..... those do exist but they were parodies of "Dune". The equivilant of "Bored of the Rings" and as such they were most excellent. I hear they bought the rights and are moving on to recreate "The Dying Earth" and Terry Goodkind is done with the epic heroism of "Sword of Truth" and out of boredom is moving on to reimagine the "Amber" series and bringing Richard and Kahlan with him because, well you know, the universe is not virtuous without them. I can't wait!
Kojiro
ML,Which is why it is such a positive thing that KJA was never allowed to write in the Dune Universe.:firm nod: Ha, I do the same denial act with all of the Highlander movies made past the original. Unfortunately, it doesn't make it any less true. :crying:
Lily Valley
Can I borrow it in the meantime? :DSure! Just keep in mind that people will complain about your "misleading cover". Sarah Hoyt exploded yesterday and now she's mad at Mike Glyer who has been doing a bang up job over at file770 Because the hypocritical scum (I apologize to any scum I might have offended) who runs file 770 has been gleefully linking anything of mine that even uses the letters H-u-g- and o in the same paragraph, but yesterday I wrote about his hypocrisy in taking a sentence of mine out of context and linking it with a clever-daft punchline of the “Hydrophobia that falls on you from nowhere” to imply I was homophobic.Did he link yesterday’s post? Are you kidding? Even though he’s fairly sure his blinded followers will rarely click through, he couldn’t afford to explode his narrative. He’d on the flimsiest of “evidence” – i.e. my refusal to go into details on same sex marriage and other accommodations for more “exotic” orientations in a post to which it wasn’t even incidental –declared me homophobic, and he couldn’t risk the narrative being exploded.Good times. Not to be outdone, the other puppies are picking up drums.Peter Grant:I won’t take this any more. I know I’m far from the only Puppy supporter who’s had enough of the SJW’s lies and slanders and libels. They want a war? They can have one.I haven't had this much fun since we were all fighting about juvenile delinquency.
SkynJay
Sarah Hoyt. A few months back she called me a duck and then explained to me a joke I made. She explained the joke I made...back to me...like I didn't know I had made the (incredibly old) joke.

sologdin
hoyt is really off the deep end. from the url, supra:Most of us well, some of us went through excellent universities, and read voraciously, and were subjected to the barrage of media that projected the same mental picture Ms. Gallo has: the left is eternally right (when they were wrong, their mistakes like segregation are now attributed to the right) and the future is a bright socialist utopia (really communist, but well call it socialist so as not to scare the squares) and anyone who stands against it is an evil right winger, a fascist, a neo nazi and by definition racist, sexist, homophobic.FFS. why not attribute chattel slavery to left policy preference, too? Lily Valley
Correia went on record today saying that the sad puppies are not calling for boycotts, and then lays out seven reasons why the puppies should boycott Tor.
