Hereward
I’d rather lose than win games at home by parking the bus. What a dreadful advert for football.
Daemon the Leaner
Arteta really doesn't help himself. What does the guy actually expect playing with the likes of Xhaka and Willian, for the whole fucking game? I mean, it's not as if he was subbing them at 70's or so. smh
AncalagonTheBlack
I like the look of this. Â

l2 0 5 5
Werner on a streak of 3-4 games with absolute embarrassing misses. Even with the misses, still manages to affect the game. I'm not worried. Funny that we bring him in to play striker and he probably has the least amount of minutes playing that position when you compare with Abraham and Giroud. It's working, so I won't complain. Would imagine he'll be slotted back into that role when Pulisic is fully fit to start.
Soylent Brown
Jones fucked that up big time. Play the ball through for Salah ffs.
Soylent Brown
Uninspiring stuff from us again, but Conor Coady took pity and helped out. Ta!
ljkeane
That’s actually a brilliant bit of play from Mane to avoid making contact with Coady.  I think I’d just injure myself if I tried to pull out mid swing like that.
Soylent Brown
He did well to stop, but I'd rather he ruled out overhead kicks in his own box full stop! No penalty, but you can't blame Coady for freaking out that Mane was about to launch his head into the stands.
Consigliere
Spurs reminds me of Mourinho's title winning Chelsea side of 2014/2015. Not pretty to watch but solid defensively with two or three players regularly producing individual moments of brilliance to conjure up goals. It was Hazard, Costa and Fabregas in 2014/2015 and Kane and Son now.

Soylent Brown
Mourinho's made Spurs a solid unit, but they're relying an awful lot on Kane and Son being ridiculous at the moment. It'll be interesting to see if others can take up the mantle when their form drops off.

We created very little, and while Firmino has been acing his nutmegs, he's underhit a few important passes. Not to have a go at him though, he's been fine, but we haven't been good. Meaningless possession and little in the way of chances, like most weeks. We could really do with another goal or two.
Consigliere
Also not sure what Arteta is doing. Arsenal weren't this devoid of creativity when he took over last season. It's like he's channelled his inner David Moyes-at-United and his attacking game plan boils down to cross and pray.

Soylent Brown
Our goal difference is pretty pants at the moment. We should probably try to score a bunch more.
