polishgenius
Two episodes in, yeah, the new cast are nailing it so far. Poobah
Teng Ai Hui
Like others have said, it's a good season so far. I can't wait to read some of that fanfic that ships Greg and Alex.
Teng Ai Hui
Season 4 of Taskmaster New Zealand just ended, which was a lot of fun, and now it's time for Taskmaster to start its new season on Thursday.
polishgenius
Looks like the new series is seeking to answer the question 'what if all of the contestants were as bad as David Baddiel?'. Sam Campbell may be the exception to that.
Teng Ai Hui
I thought episode 2 was an improvement. Enjoyed the escape room like task and the mischief task. I just today realized that Susan Wokoma was on Cheaters. I was hoping it would get a second season, but since that was on 1.5 years ago, it's probably not going to happen. lessthanluke
4 episodes into the new season and I am loving this cast. Sam Campbell in particular.

DaveSumm
Sam Campbell is that great combination of funny, but also actually wants to win. I don’t mind Julian Clary but damn, he’s a contender for “most blatantly here for the pay cheque” of the whole show.

He's second on the leaderboard as it stands so he can't be that unbothered by winning. I saw someone summarise him as a combination between Jo Brand's disinterest and James Acaster's contempt, which is pretty apt - but he's getting shit done so far. Anyway, yeah, really enjoying this cast. Sam Campbell's humour ran the risk of not bouncing well off the others, but actually it totally fits. (John Kearns had that problem in his series, really badly. It wasn't a bad bit on its own but he kept deflating the momentum of all the studio sections. Ivo Graham took basically the same schtick and nailed it in the next series, and others have worked with the 'downbeat loser' routine before as well, so not really sure quite what went wrong for Kearns). Lucy Beaumont may be the contestant, of all so far on the show, with the least connection to reality. I'd have thought she was putting it on but it seems people believe she's just like that.
