TheLoneliestMonk
got introduced to caiparinhas in costa rica and fell head over heals for them! nothing beats the heat like one of those. but, since its cold as hell right now and im cheap as hell im drinking some california ruby port. now port i was introduced to by jack kerouak. on a related note, in on the road he talks about a drink i always wanted to try. errr, a series of shots. it was a shot of port, followed by a shot of whiskey which was then chased with another shot of port. it was called wine spolioli or some such craziness. i have yet to try it but i encourage anyone and everyone else to do so and let me know how it goes. otherwise as soon as i can scrounge up 20$ for a pint of jim beam and another bottle of port and ill let you all know how it goes. which will take a while because i'm a very longwinded drunk! Annelise
I have been craving a Margarita since noon. Husband evidently loves me, because he went out and got some. Mmm... tart. Ice cream... found this gallon of caramel cone ice cream, thought it would be okay, it's not designer brand if you will. Oh. my. god, talk about a happy surprise. Seriously, every time husband eats it he talks about how good it is.

Bronn Stone
I could afford a shot of 30-year old whisky at 30 a LOT easier than I could a shot of 21-year old at 21.
AprilFool
I just had a Monty Pythons Holy Grail Ale "Tempered over Burning Witches". I got it for the fun factor, but the beer was tasty as well. Brewed by the Black Sheep Brewery in Rochester NY.

MercenaryChef
scotch is a glory. it really is. my roommate and i sit and have a scotch once a week or so. it is a ritual. i make a nice meal. we do the dishes and then like men of old we sit and enjoy a scotch and reflect upon the days events. tomorrow we will pass up the nice meal in favor of pizza and watchmen in imax. but, still we will have scotch. yes, we are amazing. a comic book movie and then fantastic scotch. TheLoneliestMonk
i am sipping now on the greatest cocktail known to (this) man. it is the negroni. 1 part gin, 1 part campari, 1 part dry vermouth. i just wish i had an orange to garnish it because that little extra sweetness helps a lot. even without though, this is an amazing drink.
