US are huge and there's plenty to see and do there, but the bottom line is it's all one country and cultural differences are not that visible.That definitely has its advantages, but on the other hand, Europe has a different kind of charm - smaller countries, different languages, more historic sights and all that. And I'm from Belgrade, Serbia.The problem with the US/Canada is geography. You can't take a train on a lark and be in a different country with a different culture. I still can't believe how many people have never left the US, not even to visit Canada or Mexico. The mentality that comes from that has shaped some of the unfortunate policy decisions.
