Would Sansa have been happy marrying Loras Tyrell like she often imagines?

If they technically are it's a great cause for an annulment. I don't know what the Westeros version of annulment is but remember she never told him no. He was being a gentlemen by not pushing her into doing anything until she told him it was okay and she was ready. But if she wanted to make some sort of fuss and say that the marriage should be ended because he didn't fulfill his husbandly duties and then went AWOL she could probably pull it off.

She could pull off. This calls for research time.

Yeah. we don't see her fantasizing a kiss with anyone.... except..... Sandor. Ned: "I'll find you someone brave, and true and strong." i think a while in meditation would cure a few problems from a past...

Wrong.
Wed to Ser Loras, oh… Sansa’s breath caught in her throat. She remembered Ser Loras in his sparkling sapphire armor, tossing her a rose. Ser Loras in white silk, so pure, innocent, beautiful. The dimples at the comer of his mouth when he smiled. The sweetness of his laugh, the warmth of his hand. She could only imagine what it would be like to pull up his tunic and caress the smooth skin underneath, to stand on her toes and kiss him, to run her fingers through those thick brown curls and drown in his deep brown eyes. A flush crept up her neck.

Very thread-appropriate, wouldn't you say?

In any case, I wouldn't call her mis-remembering the kiss "fantasizing", but YMMV.

The princess in her would have loved it. They could have been the most beautiful couple in Westeros uniting two of the great houses and fringing pleasure to the eyes of any small folk lucky enough to behold them.

The woman in her would have hated it however. It could only last so long before she snapped and Loras walked in on her riding one of the household guards like sea-biscuit.

On the other hand, if Loras was even a little bisexual and had just enough testosterone in him to impregnate her a few times and have the odd tumble with her when he was drunk, perhaps that would be enough for her.

I know a few flamboyantly gay guys who have slept with women at one point.

This duscusion about Sandor is really disturbing - a large, much older, heavy drinker, full of rage bortherline sociopath who contemplates that he should have raped Sansa is according to some people her dream guy because he showed her some kindness and since he isn't total freak lets give him Sansa as a reward.

Who says that Loras is gay?? he could be bisexual? Why not... he is still so young. Anyway, even if he is 100% gay, he could still do his duty and make some babies.... that would keep Sansa happy for some time. And when she gets older, she could get a paramour anytime she wants.... she would have a perfect marriage, a perfect knight husband, probably the most beautiful children in Westeros... and a paramour of her choosing. The perfect life IMO :)

If a married Sansa has a paramour, is it acceptable or considered adultery?

Everyone knows Loras is gay and people would be laughing behind Sansa's back. Eventually, that would come to gall her, even if she were initially clueless. Sansa has pride -- sherefused to bend down to Tyrion, even though she was a captive of the Lannisters. Her pride would not be able to bear the idea of a husband who was not attracted to her and the fact that everyone knew it. Margaery didn't mind; but then she had a lot to gain by marrying Renly, and she is probably savvy enough to know how to get some on the side. Sansa isn't.

I always thought Maergery Tyrell probably was doing an Irri and Dany with a couple of her attendants.

He has been in AA the QI, he's just as old as Willas (who most people agree, including me, will be the perfect match for her) and I think it was confirmed that he didn't want to rape her, he just say that to enrage Arya and kill him. And you said "give him Sansa as a reward" as if it was against her wishes. I'm not saying he's his perfect knight or they'll end togheter, but more bizarre things have happened in this story...

Well Margaery loved her brother who was Renley's lover. It somehow would have made it easier for her to tolerate a gay husband - especially if he was king.

Provided she produced the heir and spare, she would have been free to do pretty much as she pleased.

HOWEVER Stannis seemed to doubt Renley's ability to even do his duty sufficiently to sire an heir. Loras and Renley seem like a pretty full on gay couple not really even a little bit bi

I think Ser Garlan was being honest when he told sansa that Tyrion made a better husband than Loras.

Sansa definietly wouldn't be that happy as she imagines. After all she was compeletly obvious thta Loras is gay, and won't love her. Not to mention Loras didn't really care about her either.

But she definietly would have been happier than with tyrion. not a Lannister, lives in Highgarden, girlfriends, far from Joffrey, And she woudln't have traumatic memories like her wedding night with tyrion. (And thegirls in Highgarden might teach her how to enjoy herself withouth her husband), she might even could have a paramour.

And as far as enjoying sex life, she wouidn't have enjoyed it with tyrion either. firstly, she doesn't find him desirable at all, and we still haven't talked about tyrions skills (or lack of) yet.

That is pretty unlikely. From everything we know of him, it doesn't seem like he's interested in women in romantic/sexual way at all. But even if we allow the possibility.. He really loved Renly. I doubt he would start exploring his bisexuality right after he lost him, he must have some time for the wound to heal. And he plainly wasn't interested in Sansa at all. She's beautiful, but that doesn't mean every guy that is attracted to women is going to be attracted to her.

...Do we have to talk about Tyrion "Three Strokes" Lannister's skills? :P
