Veltigar
Which roles have Purefoy, West and Mikkelsen played that make them more suitable for Euron though?Mads Mikkelsen'For look and physicality: Watch 'Valhalla Rising' where he plays mysterious Viking warrior One-eye. Or look at his minor role as Tristan in 'King Arthur'For dark charisma and lucifer like appeal: watch 'Hannibal'For range: watch 'Jagten' (the Hunt) and compare that to his roles in 'casino royal' and the movies mentioned above. Hetruly is one of the greatest actors working today.
Ser Tahu
How about this pair for the Greyjoy brothers:Euron - David Wenham (Faramir)http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d1/Oranges_and_Sunshine_Premiere_David_Wenham.jpgVictarion - Liam McIntyre (Spartacus V2)http://144.142.232.60/frominsidethebox/liam-mcintyre-spartacus.jpgThey both have the acting talent to pull off their respective roles, they could pass as brothers, and both could pass as uncles of Alfie Allen.http://earnthis.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/got-alfie.jpg
Veltigar
McIntyre is way to young.
Ser Tahu
McIntyre is way to young.Good point, I just checked his age and he is too young. I thought he was ~10 years older than that :P. Ray Stevenson it is.
Ser Desmond Wine's Bane
How about this pair for the Greyjoy brothers:Euron - David Wenham (Faramir)http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d1/Oranges_and_Sunshine_Premiere_David_Wenham.jpg This is actually very interesting... But how about Wenham as Victarion and Richard Roxburgh as Euron Portrait: http://www.starswelove.com/celebrities/r/richardroxburgh/pictures/richard_roxburgh001b.jpg Previous character role: http://content7.flixster.com/photo/11/14/30/11143005_ori.jpg The second image was quite some time ago and he has aged up since. Also the guy could easily be considered in any list of "Most underrated actors". He is mainly stage and small screen with a few big screen roles, He and Wenham could really carry the 'brothers' image and Roxburgh nails characters that drip with menace. Red Tiger
McIntyre is way to young. Not necessarily. Balon's the eldest, followed by Euron (who's supposed to look young) and then Victarion. Victarion being a lot younger than Balon doesn't sound so crazy to me.
CaulShivers
Roxburgh could play Euron but Wenham as Victarion? Absolutely not, he's too small and doesn't look intimidating at all. Ray Stevenson is the best choice for Victarion, Craig Fairbrass otherwise if we stick to actors available on the British Isles.
Blutrabe
Craig Fairbrass otherwise if we stick to actors available on the British Isles. I've never heard about him before, so I looked him up. That's a Victarion if there ever was one!
wandering
Ian McShane would kill it as Euron.
malinky
I heard they saw Dan Feuerriegel about someone, I'd love to think it was one of the Greyjoys?
RAddichio
Richard Armitage will be playing John Proctor in The Crucible at the Old Vic this summer. HBO might've already missed it's chance to have the very best Euron Greyjoy. C'est la vie!

HBO might've already missed it's chance to have the very best Euron Greyjoy. C'est la vie! Casting starts next month, and filming most likely in Autumn. Will the run be finished by then? Legend
I think Michael Wincott would be an awesome choice for Crow's Eye.
Charles Calthrop
There is only one actor for Euron:Mads MikkelsenIt's never going to happen of course, but if they got him to come on board it would be the greatest casting win for this show since Charles Dance as Tywin. Why wouldn't it happen? Do you think he's too high profile?
Veltigar
Why wouldn't it happen? Do you think he's too high profile? He's already working on Hannibal and that show is probably not going away anytime soon (nor do I wish that, it's the best show on air right now). Perhaps, if the role of Euron is small enough they might be able to get him, but I doubt it.
Deadwood
Considering future series are now set, and casting issues previously, the contracts will reflect free dates for years to come. It is unlikely.
