[BOOK SPOILERS] Nitpick without repercussion.

Darrio could be Dany's sister. I'm kidding. But this nudity stuff is out of control. IF MEL TRIES TO SEDUCE JON I WILL GO INSANE! DO NOT TOUCH AAR IN THAT MANNER!

Ummm....the only whitewashing I approve of since it actually happens is the Hound. Tyrion didn't take out his junk...I am disappoint. Tyrion makes the High Septon look like Spawn. (if you don't know who Spawn is google is your friend)

LMAO! Ok the Spawn thing made me lol so hard. :lmao:

Like many I was upset with Sansa kneeling, but by now I'm more ok with the changes/adaptations than I was in previous seasons and considering how they are portraying Tyrion in the show, it wasn't a total shock. I also didn't like much the open treat that Cersey made to Marg, I mean I think that telling the Rains of Castemeere story was enough treat and more subtle, so they should stop there. Finally the sex scene between Gendry and Melisandre wasn't that necessary IMO.

Sansa kneeling- what the hell

No Robb or Cat. For fuck's sake the RW is at the door we should have them appearing every episode! It seems D&D don't give a fuck for the Starks at all. Anything that isn't their precious Dany or Tyrells or Lannisters gets the cutting floor, ugh.

Too many cut characters/storylines this episode (Jaime, Cat, Brienne, Robb, Jon, Bran, Theon)- the episode felt incredibly short for it.

NO COLDHANDS! What a tease.

While I did like the show finally explaining the significance of the Rains of Castamere, what really bothered me was Cersei's threat to Margery and basically saying "we will never be family" to her. Way to burn bridges, Cersei. In this case it's the bridge leading to Highgarden. Normally she has been white-washed into an almost likable character, but D+D all of a sudden took a u-turn and made her worse then she as even in AFFC. Even in that book she tried to hide her dislike for Margery.

They really exceeded their booty quota this week. Melisandre fucks Gendry and then binds him and puts the leeches on him, all because she wanted his guard down? It felt like a "MILF torture porn" fantasy. They seriously could have used the leeches without the whole sexual debacle.

Stannis' character in the show has always been awful, and this episode was no different. He's a man of duty and honor, and would never just shrug at the murder of an innocent; bastard or no.

I get sick of all the raunchy dialogue in the Daenerys scenes (and all the others in fact). If you are going to remove parts of ASOS, take out the sex talk. Certainly don't add to it while removing things that actually advance the plot.

Overall, a better episode than last. As a purist, it will never be as good as the first season again I wager.

Sam the Slayer was great, but I think it's come too late. We still have Coldhands and the Nightfort left for the season. If they had done Sam the Slayer in the first or second episode, it would have somewhat made up for the lack of the Battle of the Fist. The scene was brilliantly executed overall, but my minor gripe is that I would prefer if Sam killed the WW in front of Grenn, rather than have the cliched nerdy-guy-saves-crush-from-monster thing. But I guess it fleshes out Gilly and Sam's relationship more, and may explain why she falls for him.

So show Davos doesn't believe in the gods? That's a bit of character assassination, isn't? He's probably one of the only POV characters in the series that actually has faith.

Also, I wanted to slap Shae for that smug look she made after finding the sheets unbloodied. Are we supposed to be rooting for her and Tyrion? If so, they seriously miscast the role.

I think this was an attempt to make Daario more likable. Daario doesnt engage in the really ribald discussion there and he keeps his mouth shut. So it felt more satisfying when he brought Dany the heads of those two guys.

No Arya wrapped in burrito style? And where is the Hound? I mean, The Hound. That guy with Arya seems nice.

Is Daario too hot that's why khalessi needs a bath?

Doesn't need to undress Mel to get some blood from Gendry. Juz sayin'.

Sansa is not a kneeler. "Would you mind?" "Oh sorry, my Lord. I didn't notice the king took the stool."

i swear i could literally hear the cries of outrage from here when sansa knelt lol

I would've liked to see her refusing to kneel too, but they kind of wrote themselves into a corner with that by making Tyrion the character he is in the show. Plus making a show of Joffrey taking the stool just to me a dick, and there was just no way for Sansa to act as she did in the books and still be a sympathetic character to like 80% of the audience.

i dont get why people are so mad about sansa kneeling

she just stood there like an idiot waiting for tyrion to cloak her for a short while before eventually kneeling, that alone is insult enough. any more would have made her character a complete b-word next to cersei, which is not what the show runners are aiming for atleast i dont think.

I just thought it made her look stupid, what did she expect at first? tyrion to fly and cloak her? the fact that she needed tyrion to remind her that hes a dwarf just made her look like a dumbass. and many people already think she is one. lol. sansa. what a joke.

The Hound continues to disappoint. He's supposed to be sharp, cynical, angry, sarcastic, snarky, bitter, MEAN.

NOT nice and conversational.

These were my favorite chapters from the book!! And they've been so poorly realized!!

Sandor is going to screw up Stranger's neck by having Arya sitting across it for hours on end over hill and dale. Could they not find a saddle wide enough for the two of them? Or what it too awkward to ride double squished together? :P

Gendry over reacting to the leeches was also silly. Personally, if I were tied up by that crazy bitch I'd be RELIEVED she only wanted to leech me.

Tyrion should have taken off his clothes.

Yeah, they do love the Tyrells! They are good characters though...even though they've ruined Ser Loras.

I think they've showed them a bit to much this season IMO seeing as more time should have been spent to RW build up. Though I won't complain to much, Oolena had me amused this episode with attempting to say how they and the Lannisters would all be related lol.

c'mon ye Cunts! ye can do better'n THIS, eh??? :drunk:

well.....yeah, Loras' character is a bonafide ding-bat.

Nor was he too bright in the books, either. On screen he gets an extra helping of vapid. No big loss, in the scheme of things, methinks.

they're probably showing too much ninny & hooch, by any standard, but hey - the books go there at times too, so i'm uh, hardly complaining (bad puns notwithstanding)

it's the mark of a damn good ep. when we got such boring nitpicks

Small thing. I would have preferred Stannis to go by the book order of usurpers; Joffrey, Balon, Robb. Robb is the one you really care about, and it stands to reason that hearing his name last would make you go, "Oh shit, no!" Rather the show has put them in the order that they will actually die in, as if that matters.
