Free Northman Reborn
Google Earth spotted something massive apparantly breaking the ocean surface off an Antarctic Island. What is this picture? TrueMetis
I wanna say it looks like a sperm whale, but it's far to big.

Yes, I also thought it looked like a whale shape breaching the surface, but that only accounts for a portion of the disturbance. The full area of turbulance exceeds a 120m. Of course, it could be a bunch of other whales churning up the rest of the area, but the pattern does appear to radiate outward from a central point. Which Tyler
it's about 25-30 metres long - so about right for a blue whale; with the disturbance being about in line from videos of other whales jumping out of the water an belly-flopping back in

Free Northman Reborn
Apparently it is an outcropping called Sail Rock. I'm pretty disappointed with the guy who pointed it out. Ah well, back to boring normality.

DireWolfSpirit
The serial alarmists have been slightly disarmed with tools like google earth and other satelite capable sights. I remember various fear mongering stories about Sino troops amassing on the Canadian and Mexico borders in years past. The last hoax story, which was allegedely thousands of Chinese red army troops on the Mexican border, was quickly shown to be a trailer park with one of these google earth type sites/app. Whats West of Westeros in Flatworld anyway?
