So we will be able to witness Littlefinger in all of his glory: sitting on a now meaningless throne and overwhelmed by the events that are taking place. Because Littlefinger isn't a warrior, he's a politician. And he'll be overtaken by the events taking place and will keep fighting for the meaningless throne until he actually holds it but it means nothing. The world as he knows it will crumble and he will become meaningless as well.

I rather like this and think something similar.  The Iron Throne has meant so much, for so long, to LF.  All of his plans, schemes, and machinations are directed to one thing, and one thing only - to sit on the IT.  I can imagine a dramatic scene of him, alone in the throne room, finally achieving his goal, when it is utterly meaningless.  Nobody deserves it more.

I think Arya will die. A Stark dies every season and Arya's plot is just freefalling now. Plus the audience would react worse to the other Starks dying.

A Stark didn't die in season 2 or season 4. Anyway, Arya is a fan favorite and always rates in the top 5 in popularity polls, so the audience will react rather poorly to her dying.

But they would react even worse to Bran or Sansa dying. So Arya is the logical choice of which Stark to axe next.

I don't know where you're getting this idea. Bran and Sansa are liked well enough, but they aren't considered fan favorites.

Sophie is the fourth favorite, after Jon, Dany, and Tyrion. She is a major favorite,

First scene of Season 7: Sam is admitted in the archmaester room.

Archmeaster: So you have been sent by Jon Snow to become Night's Watch Maester...this is irregular Snow is not the Lord Commander of the NW.

Sam: Oh that..I alredy explained...there where circumstances...

Archmeaster: We received a raven from the wall...Current Lord Commander is Edd Tollet.

Sam (lost): Jon....died?

Archmeaster: That is an interesting question. Anyway we received another raven from Winterfell. Seems your Lord Commander become a King. We can't ignore the letter of a King.

Sam (revived): So...I am admitted?

Archmeaster: It takes years to become Maester. We can't leave both the NW and a king without a Maester for year. You will stay with us until we select two Maesters to send to the North, then you will escort them back to Winterfell and the Wall. It will hardly take a month or two. In the mean time you will be permitted to use the library as you please and take part to lessons.

 ....................................................

Then of course Sam will just conveniently find about the two - three thing he need to know ;)

I can see the show doing that ;)

Imagine the nightmare: Sam proves to be very efficient and gets his chain in no time and is then sent to the Red Keep to replace Pycelle. Damn it! (no worries, it's just a joke, I know it won't happen)

Yes, this could be the second thing they show, but first they'll start with the same scene as the end of season 6: the armada with the dragons flying overhead, everything full epic, and then they switch the view to the deck of a ship, with Dothraki soldiers puking in every corner, and Tyrion telling her that they need to get on land soon, because motivation is going south quickly, and they have started killing each other.  This would be the perfect way to show that the problems aren't over for Dany, they've just begun.

I think next season will feature a few skirmishes toward the start, with various game players taking their positions (eg Dany establishing a base from which to launch her conquest, Euron attacking somewhere important, the Dornish making their moves, etc.

From there, I think most of season 7 will be political power plays, alliances and we'll see the "Game of Thrones" in overdrive. The season will end with the The Wall coming down and the real battle beginning, which will make them all realise how insignificant the power game really is.

Predictions for characters:

Cersei: I think it's pretty much guaranteed she will die toward the end of the season. She has no place in the war for dawn and everyone really fucki g hates her (for many many good reasons. Still she will cause a lot more havoc before she goes.

Jaime: He will likely be the one to kill Cersei(if not, then he will at least have a falling out with her and essentially pave the way for Arya to kill her). However he has no place in war for dawn and will be killed sometime after Cersei (or possibly even by Cersei, if the mad bitch decides to kill all her potential "valanquar's before they kill her).

Jon: his power base will grow throughout the season and I reckon it will appear very likely he's going to become King....just before the Wall comes crashing down and he heads North to fight the WW (and die a hero in season 8). He will meet Dany at some point.

Tyrion: he will continue to advise Dany and will almost certainly become a dragon rider before season 8 begins.

Arya: Although I think GRRM has always had a different end game in mind for her than just being an assassin and her story focus will shift dramatically in season 8 (or end of S7), I feel next season at least we'll see her in full assassin mode for a while and several big names will die at her hand. Cersei, Melisandre, most of the BwB(esp. Beric Dondarion and Thoros) are all likely targets.

Sansa: She's going to "appear" to have betrayed Jon at some point early in season, but in reality is laying a trap for Littlefinger (which because of his hubris and feelings for Sansa, won't see coming) which will be his downfall. She will grow in her command and by end of season she will be fully confident in her rule.

Littlefinger: Will be humiliated but not killed by Sansa and I think will plot some genius and terrible plan that gets foiled by Varys.

Varys: I'm surprised so few have mentioned him. Varys is the ultimate game player and I'm fairly confident we'll see him at full stride in season 7. I also think he has something left up his sleeve that will be a major game hanger for the other players.

The Hound and the Mountain: Cleganebowl is coming. I think there's a decent chance the Mountain will win though (and then be killed by Arya)

Ser Jorah, Grey Worm, Missandei, Ellaria, Sand Snakes, Queen of Thorns, Euron, Asha, Theon - without a doubt a number of these characters will die (if not all) - most killed by major players mentioned above.

Alienarea, why do you think there will be a sex scene between Sansa and Littlefinger? Sansa hates him and knows he's a creep. She still doesn't trust anyone.

And Mayura, the reason Sansa "lied" to him, (and I use that word in quotes because I don't know why people use that word. She didn't lie to him because she never said anything to him, she just didn't tell him about the Vale Knights) is because after everything she's been through, she doesn't trust ANYONE. Even the people she loves and cares about. She just feels like she can't since everyone who promised to protect her, betrayed her. So you can't blame her.

It's called lying by omission.

Jon trusted people and was stabbed to death for it. Yet here is trusting a sister that treated him like a bastard for most of his life. He can see beyond that because he values family like House Stark are supposed to.

She said to him in the e10 that she don't see him as a bastard but as a stark and later in the show she asked forgiveness from him about treating him as a bastard, I don't why with sansa you always try too hard to distort the show, do you think we are kids to trust you and don't trust the show, I swear some people got the hateful dark side of Arya printed on their heart, they look like ghosts of LSH with all their hatred

First off, LF needs to die as he is in the same place as Jon, Sansa and Lord Royce and he has lied and almost got Lord Royce killed because of his selling of Sansa to the Boltons, Jon does know about it and all it would take is Sansa and or Jon to confirm to Lord Royce. Sweet Robin does not seem to be up North so LF cannot go and run to the little shit and bribe him into protecting him. LF still breathing air is one big giant plot hole at this point that needs to be resolved. Then again, they may milk his "mental influence" over Sansa to get them both killed off as I think both will die in Season 7 anyway. Bran's arrival back in the North may give LF an opportunity to have him killed and try and frame Jon for it to get rid of him to set up Sansa, I could see that but not before Bran is able to pass on some of his newly discovered knowledge of Jon's true identity.

Right now, Cersei looks doomed while at the same time, Dany looks unstoppable. Some kind of misfortune will strike Dany or a couple of things will like a storm off the coast of Westeros could take some of her forces to the bottom of the Narrow Sea and Euron may, may have something up his sleave that could mess with the Grand alliance of Dany, Dorne and the Reach. Stay tuned.

The Others will reach and breach the wall in the Season 7 finale, I am certain of that and Benjen will be back in Season 8 to fight for the living as if the Wall is down, he can pass and come South too.

Exactly. Despite the history there, Jon forgave her and trusted her like he would any of his family. What did she do in return? Not trust him because reasons. Starks haven't had it easy but they are a family and need eachother.

You need to chill. It's not that serious.

I'm really chill, it's summer, I must make my daily prayer to Lord GRRM to kill Sansa in the next book and read the old outline where Sansa betrayed her family 10 times each day and then go to sleep and dream about Jon beheading Sansa in the next season

I don't know how you call that but, in my book, if someone retains such a crucial information from me and let me engage into a fight with little men *knowing* I could have waited and be better off, I call that a lie and a big one.

So yes, I can blame Sansa because, in my opinion (and I'm ok if you disagree with it), she still hasn't learned she needs to stick with her family rather than side with strangers... It bit her in the ass back in s01 when Lady died and Ned was beheaded but she's still making the same mistake. So yes, I read the interview in which Turner says it's because Sansa doesn't trust anyone. But still, was it worth risking her last brother's death?

Anyway, this isn't a Sansa thread so I'll stop there, but I think show Sansa isn't that sure about pushing LF away and we'll see more of them in S07.
