Ser Barry
The one we are looking at is offering a BBQ. Also, not sure whether Pubs will let us bring in food if they do their own. More after our scientific and arduous expedition.

ztemhead
I want to DJ. And I want music- usually with GRRM about, there is no music playing. My laptop alone can pump out a fair bit of sound, though I'd have to get one of those pesky voltage adapters because in the US we believe in maintaining a fair bit of danger when plugging and un plugging appliances. Paddy
Sounds cool to me. Count me in for that. I should be able to bring over my guitar, if anyone would be interested. Or maybe that would be a bit too emo. If I do bring the guitar, people might want to make some requests for songs for me to learn to play for ye all. I'm not suggesting I play all night though. I wanna get in amongst the beers too and playing guitar and being drunk do not go well together. There's probably others amongst us who can play too. Mo Sneachd
Are you suggesting that one is forced to be able to sing to attempt it, too, Ser Paddy? I hope not. BwB singalong to emo guitar sounds... interesting. We managed weirder things, though. Oh, if anyone is willing to bring a harpsichord I'll volunteer to play Music again - well, one usually ends up not meeting 50 % of the attendees' taste with the selection. Play DJ at own rist
Werthead
Maybe there should be BwB Party Music Selection thread?
Chaldanya
I quite like the idea of some music as background noise (plus I always like a good boogie and can dance to almost anything). Cost seems to fine to me as well, and I'm sure our researchers will not let us down! N
zakalwe7
I want more emo-singing with Paddy. We can try and beat 6am this time. *gets emo for Dublin*
Mo Sneachd
5 am is the time for noisy activity in a place full of severely hungover or just-retired-to-bed people anyway. Go for it, I say! I'll provide ASS and physical defense.
Padraig
Sure Paddy...if you feel up to bringing the guitar, that would be good. One can't get enough of seeing some people try to sing along!
Filippa Eilhart
someone could also bring a piano for zak...
Werthead
Arrgh! I was planning to come on the Friday but the Saturday now seems to be where it's at. But I've got a plane to catch on Sunday Goddamnit!
Filippa Eilhart
we'll be there on Friday too.
Werthead
Nice. I can do getting drunk and going to work or getting drunk and catching a train, but getting drunk and catching a plane when I'm not a great plane traveller is probably a bad combination. Paddy
I'm not so sure about that. Being/getting pissed can be a great way of having the journey just fly by. Its the getting to the plane and getting off that'd be the difficulty
Filippa Eilhart
when I was on a scholarship in the UK, a guy responsible for our group ticket for the bus from Frankfurt got drunk the night before the flight... ... he left the tickets in the dorm. ... and he realised that in Frankfurt, when he sobered up. Filippa Eilhart
What did you all do to him? Kick him? well, everyone just basically laughed it off... (and half of them were just as drunk) though I admit I got into a huge fight with him. *grin* mmm... good times.
john
Somebody better bring a guitar. The BwB singing unaccompanied is a horror I don't want to witness.
