dragonsrule
Will Theon tell Stannis that Bran and Rickon are alive? He seems pretty committed to maintaining Jeyne=Arya because it makes him look better to have rescued Arya Stark than Jeyne Poole. Will he keep up the story that he killed Bran and Rickon because admitting the truth will make him look weak? Or will he confess as part of his redemption ark? Shadrich
At the moment no one will believe him, nor will it make much difference. When Davos comes back with Rickon, and assuming Theon survives to that point - then it again makes little difference.
kissdbyfire
Sorta. It will be Bran who does the talking, through Theon's mouth. :wideeyed:
The Bear With Yellow Hair
I don't think he will admit it for redemption, I think he will admit it to save himself right before Stannis swings the sword. It is one of the last chess pieces he has and he needs to use it only when he is in "any last words" position. However, that might all go to waste if Stannis encounters Wyman Maderly or Davos Seaworth in the near future. Wyman will tell Stannis that Davos is going to get Rickon, or Davos himself will return with Rickon. If one of these things happens first, then there goes on of Theon's reasons to being more useful alive. There are many reasons to keep Theon alive so I think that he keeps their survival secret until his other reasons for living have run out. ~No One~
I think Davos is gonna be away from the action for awhile... it seems like some crazy stuff happens to him in WoW, based on his Thronecast interview. I'm not sure he'll reunite with Stan the man any time soon.I do think Theon will say something before he dies. He's already told Asha, who is probably hoping that Theon lives. Theon is her only hope of undoing the results of the Kingsmoot. One of the two of them will figure out a way.
Iona
At the moment no one will believe him, nor will it make much difference. Based on the Theon gift chapter from tWoW, I'd say that Asha believes him, and I have a feeling that she has a plan already worked out. Me thinks she wants to get baby brother in front of the heart tree since the northeners believe that no man can tell a lie in front of it.

Was gonna say the same, it is believed in northern traditions that a man cannot lie in a front of heart tree.

It would be a good way to "let the world know" tht the Stark children are alive.
Ser Leftwich
It might be tied up in Ramsay's death, which would open up a psychological block for Theon.
bemused
No man can lie before a heart tree ... but Bran might be quite judicious in how the truth should be told .. particularly regarding himself. I think Theon was quite honest in his advice to Jeyne ( thinking of her )... his lying about her identity would be seen as understandable, under the circumstances. Sages
I think Theon will keep it to himself. At least for the time being, I don't see any incentive for Theon to tell Stannis. Right now Stannis is convinced that Theon needs to die. But Theon has become such an interesting character I can't see him dying anytime soon. Señor de la Tormenta
Half of Stannis army already knows this.
aryagonnakill#2
At least some of the clansmen already know, and Theon thinks to himself that he is lying about Jeyne not for himself but for her. I think we can give him that much at least.
Ser Creighton
Would Stannis even believe him if he did tell him that or will he think it's a liar who is lying to save his ass?
Maester Joe
I don't think it will matter. Won't he still die for betraying Robb's cause and invading the North?
George W. Lannister
I wonder where the Liddle man will be during the Theon tree scene (the one who saw Bran and co.). Is he with Stannis's army or what?Asking because he could give credibility to Theon's confession.

I'm pretty sure a Liddle went to the wall for the wedding too right?
Montey14
Even if they believe he did not kill the Stark boys....he still has to answer for betraying Robb and taking Winterfell....

jon stark I
I think Theon won't tell the truth and if he does he will do it when he learns that Jeyne is safe at the Wall. But there is something I started to think. We all know that Davos will get Rickon. What if Rickon kills Theon and not Stannis.I think they won't be able to restrain Rickon once he sees Theon.Only restraint Rickon will have is Osha and even she can't hold Rickon back that much.So if Theon lives to see Rickon come back then he will certainly die after Rickon arrives either by Osha or Rickons hand via Shaggydog(which will be really cool imagine a shaggydog tearing Theons throat under the weirwood with a warging Rickon besides him).
