Because there has to be a reason for Cersei's paranoia of Margery (well to add something more than just wanting to be queen/ hating tyrells) and also it provides an avenue to show how evil cersei was from such a young age- if they show her killing melara (is that her name?) that is- so who she is today is not just a product of her history with tywin and marriage with robert. lol i hope D&D asked GRRM and clarified whether she actually fucked pushed melara or did nothing to help her while she was dying like the asshole that she is Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As others have mentioned it's more likely to be Cersei dreaming as a cold open for season 5. For example, they showed Sansa dreaming in season 2. Looking at the above material, I'm starting to suspect that Tywin's corpse itself might get two episodes of work, LOL I can't wait. Plus, that should help drive home the point of THE SMELL!!! Definitely. I loved when Jaime took Tommen out and sat him down, the smell was getting to him. It's little character moments like that, that tell you so much, that they should keep but rarely do. Also at the funeral Jaime says this so we had better see the beard, that's all I'm saying: "I am not Cersei. I have a beard, and she has breasts." Her CV says she's "currently filming episodes" but it doesn't say who she's playing. That same CV describes her appearance as being "Mediterranean, Middle Eastern [or] Mixed Race", which I guess could mean that she's in either the Dornish or Meereenese storyline. Given that she's good-looking an optimistic book fan might presume that they've actually gone and cast an Arianne after all, but it's much more likely that she's some sortof smaller role in either of those locations. They could have kept her in in some capacity, even if they've given Trystane and the Sand Snakes much of her AFFC role.
