Tyrion Hand of the King
I give it about a 1% chance he's actually dead. I for one don't think he'll be brought back from the dead either, like some others do. I believe he's barely clinging to life and will survive somehow. Anyone else who's been brought back from the dead (Cat, Beric) has been drastically changed as a result and it's hard for me to imagine that happening with Jon. The Prince Of Tatters
it definitely looks like it, "He never felt the fourth knife. Only the cold." On the other hand most major deaths have advanced the storyline in some way;Ned - causing Robb to march downKevan and Tywin - leaving the iron throne weakKat and Robb - Angry northerners are going to want retributionI don't see how killing off Jon will advance the story, especially given how many chapters GRRM has previously given him. Killing him off will amount to very little dividend in relation to the chapters invested.
Lord Lannister
Of course he's dead. The question is will he be dead tomorrow?
TheNinjaDC
I think he is KOed, but not dead (yet).People can take an insane number of shanks before dying. I'm talking 50+ range.I think he will need a form of magic intervention to save his life however.

wolfmaid7
He needs the condition so he will get "his" set of wings. So not dead, and in no need of resurrection.Badly, injured and probably comatose, but nah not dead.

Northbound3.0
In the original manuscript, there is a line that was edited out. Jon, in his best Arnold Schwarzenegger voice; was heard saying "Ill be back."
Fire Eater
No, I think comatose is more likely given GRRM doesn't do Gandalf-style resurrections.
