yomi
Yes, #2 is funny, creative and interestingly worded, but then there is #9... I just love it's flow.
Dolorous Gabe
This section is all about opinions. I personally felt that using the first 4 letters as one word marked 2 down on creativity. Yes it was funny, but I preferred 13 as more creative in achieving humour. In terms of the quality, clue 1 is the clear and distinct winner for me. A great, great clue.As I say, we're all going to have differing opinions.
Rhaena Sandship
Interestingly enough, you don't. This round there's a clue... it will win all 3 categories and has 3 additional votes. Yes, that's 15 favourite clue points for some lucky person. :)

If you're supposed to make a Dany clue and it screams Arya, you failed in my opinion, no matter if it maybe quietly whispers Dany, too.
Woofless
I'll be seriously surprised if I get even one vote with my mundane, paint by numbers, acro.
a free shadow
I'll be seriously surprised if I get even one vote with my mundane, paint by numbers, acro. It goes very well with the first sentence of your signature :ninja:
Fragile Bird
Interestingly enough, you don't. This round there's a clue... it will win all 3 categories and has 3 additional votes. Yes, that's 15 favourite clue points for some lucky person. :) I'm sorry to hear that. I gave 4 clues each a vote. I thought 2 was very funny and clever, and did vote once for it, but I agree with Gabe, combining the first 4 letters together is a tad chintzy. I could overlook that once, because it was clever, but it would have been more clever to say "OOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW" for the first word and find words for the other three letters. In the meantime, there were other very good entries that also deserved votes. :)
Fragile Bird
Technically speaking, clue 2 broke the rules:The first letter of each word in their clue must correspond to one of the two randomly generated acronyms I will publish on this thread.Sorry, it's the lawyer in me. :cool4:
Ser Not Appearing
Technically speaking, clue 2 broke the rules: Sorry, it's the lawyer in me. :cool4:I hadn't considered that but it's a valid point. Can't remember if I voted for it now.
yomi
I hadn't considered that but it's a valid point. Can't remember if I voted for it now. I voted for it as funniest. Still seems fine to me, breaking the rules can be funny.
Fragile Bird
I voted for it as funniest. Still seems fine to me, breaking the rules can be funny. Yes, I agree. So I voted for it once.
Dolorous Gabe
I'll be seriously surprised if I get even one vote with my mundane, paint by numbers, acro. You said this about your brilliant Godric Borrell clue. That one won the most votes and I said it might.I have no problem with the approach taken on clue 2 in terms of accepting it for the gameplay. I just wasn't keen on it creating only 3 words out of a 7 letter acronym.
Fragile Bird
True, we don`t know which clue got all those votes. Hey! It could be mine. :P Highly unlikely, though... But if it was, it would be an incredible confidence booster and would blow me away. So, congratulations to that person. :)

I didn't count the points from my clue, since everybody guessed it. STANDINGS AFTER ROUND TWO: 1. a shadow ... 100 2. Castellan ... 88 3. Dolorous Gabe ... 84 4. Reek Havoc ... 82 5. Lady Blizzardborn ... 81 5. Fragile Bird ... 81 7. Woofless ... 79 8. yomi ... 75 9. Ser Not Appearing ... 6810. Ser Fingerbones ... 6511. lil' ghost ... 5712. Bendubz ... 3613. redriver ... 30 To just mention some of the exceptional results this round: Ser Not Appearing's clue won all three Favourite clue categories. Congratulations, Ser! redriver and SNA have full author points, an impressive result considering how many people managed to convince themselves that somebody would describe Arya as 'royal' instead of 'resourceful', 'resilient' or 'revengeful'. Fragile Bird, Castellan, Woofless, a shadow, Lady Blizzardborn and Dolorous Gabe guessed all the clues and the theme correctly. Well earned 40 points, guys! This was a good start in the game, but now things get tough - the characters I have picked for the next three rounds are controversial, mysterious, compelling, hateful, or everything at once. They are definitely some of the most intriguing and vividly written characters in the series. And I can't wait to see your clues for them. Meaning, don't forget the deadline this evening. :)
Woofless
15 points for Ser. Well done - I liked it a lot. Would've put serious money on it being your acro :D Also liked Shadow's acro a lot.
Ser Not Appearing
Well I certainly wish I'd submitted updated guesses now. Whichever clue I had Robin Hood listed on probably didn't help me much. Thanks for the votes everyone. Always thought I'd have to die for my genius to be recognized... Fragile Bird
Well done Ser! I voted for yours because I loved it dearly, obviously, but not 4 times. Woofless, I voted for yours too. I thought it was better than my Arya clue! I said upthread that we should have a vote for best pair, and I'm convinced we would have won! :D I also voted for 2, because it was indeed funny and clever. I can't remember the 4th, because there were several others I really liked and I was going back and forth on which to choose... ETA: I seriously considered voting for Ser Not's clue twice, because I loved it most of all, but I didn't know if I was confusing that with my love of Sandor, and because, having hosted Acrophobia several times now, I know how every vote encourages people. :)
