BeardlessDick
Ramsay. But could just as well be Mance or possibly lady Dustin or Stannis however I don't believe so.
caravaggio
I do like the Lady Dustin/Mance theory, but I'm not buying that it is meant to be decoded by Theon. I think it is more likely it was intended to be heard by Melisandre, Flint and the Norrey, or someone else. Maybe the contents of the letter set in action some of the things we see happening at the Wall at the end... not Jon's stabbing though.
John Courage
Ramsay, but he's lying about Stannis. I think either Bowen Marsh or somebody at the wall is working with Ramsay, and this was a ploy to get Jon assassinated.
Lady Darry
Mance (with lady Dustin help?). I am not sure, but it definitely wasn't Ramsey.
Jojen Pasta
I think it was the Mance. I can't even begin to understand his motives, but the language in the letter is incredibly similar to how Mance spoke while under the glamour of Rattleshirt. It wasn't Ramsay as his letters are described in detail several times earlier in the book - they are always uniform, with a seal of pink wax, and large scrawling penmanship. Both Mance and Ramsay knew about Reek - Mance knew explicitly about Theon's escape, but why would he include him in the letter when Jon doesn't even know who Reek is? Its all terribly confusing. I'm going with Mance though.

Shireen Purratheon
I just took it at face value that it was Ramsay being overconfident and screwing with Jon.That being said, however, I like the idea that Barbrey Dustin wrote it to provoke Jon into coming south to join with the other northmen. caravaggio
Your false king is dead, bastard. He and all his host were smashed in seven days of battle. I have his magic sword. Tell his red whore. Your false king's friends are dead. Their heads upon the walls of Winterfell. Come see them, bastard. Your false king lied, and so did you. You told the world you burned the King-Beyond-the-Wall. Instead you sent him to Winterfell to steal my bride from me. I will have my bride back. If you want Mance Rayder back, come and get him. I have him in a cage for all the north to see, proof of your lies. The cage is cold, but I have made him a warm cloak from the skins of the six whores who came with him to Winterfell. I want my bride back. I want the false king's queen. I want his daughter and his red witch. I want this wildling princess. I want his little prince, the wildling babe. And I want my Reek. Send them to me, bastard, and I will not trouble you or your black crows. Keep them from me, and I will cut out your bastard's heart and eat it. Ramsay Bolton, Trueborn Lord of Winterfell. From the Wiki I can't recall, did Melisandre ever see or hear the contents of the letter or did she only hear that Jon was going to march south at the Shieldhall? Lady Blizzardborn
Mance, possibly with Stannis' approval. If it was Ramsay he has to be lying his backside off because if he'd killed Stannis he would have found his "bride" and his "Reek" with Stannis' people, so he wouldn't expect them to be with Jon. LemLemLemoncloak
George R R Martin of course! In all seriousness though, either Mance, or Ramsay under false information, so I think I'll vote for Ramsay.
40 Thousand Skeletons
Mance, it could have been Ramsay, but why use the word Bastard? And why is the letter written in ink instead of blood? Those are the biggest clues for me.

Makk
I think it was Ramsey. Other motives seem unconvincing to me. Still, I never thought Joffery being behind the Bran assassination attempt was convincing either.
