As I explained in the leftovers thread, I had another entry but was searching to see if I could find a better M word when I came across Myrmidon (which I did not notice I had accidentally misspelled as den instead of don until a moment ago), which in the Oxford dictionary is defined as a member of a retinue. I immediately thought of Valonqar, and thought Myrmidon would be an excellent description of Jaime. And on the internet it's defined as unscrupulous follower, or a loyal follower who carries out orders unquestioningly, even unscrupulously, which describes the Kingsguard quite well. I just fell so hard for the word I thought others would too. I thought I had a barn burner! But then again, I have a bad habit of falling in love with my entries. This doesn't really strike me as vague enough (knowing what it refers to, as Tyrion couldn't) but it's just too good not to vote for and it cracked me up. Extra chuckle thinking of Tyrion recalling the words when he's put in charge of the sewers at CR. 2. 2. Return north, little Lannister Lion, save ungrateful globe. Yeah! Be that hero! 3. 10. Remember! Never leave Lannister lair sans useful gold. Very helpful. Gold has gotten him out of a lot of scrapes. 4. 3. Relish notoriety, live life "large"...Sister'll undermine gratification. My entry for this round, as it has been for the last few rounds, is POOP! I DO like my entry for Jon though, but it's one of those acros that says what you want to say, but you know that it will be surpassed by really clever entries. But it appeals to me. If it doesn't even get one vote I won't be surprised. As for voting in this round I think, barring my own, that they are all great! Having a hard time choosing.
