Corvo the Crow Posted January 9, 2023 Share Posted January 9, 2023 Dany, 3 years younger than Amerei is far more promiscous than her and looks that she'll be raising her portcullis far more than Amerei ever did and yet she doesn't get any such name while poor Amerei is dubbed "the Gatehouse". Why? Is it simply because Dany, unlike Amerei, has the power to torture and kill people calling her such names and has shown that she's more than willing to use such power? The Titan's bastard claims that she looks like a Braavosi whore he fucked, and asks her if it was her. There's no doubt that many more ugly things are said about Dany at her back. Specially by her enemies. But we don't get to hear them because we basically see her story through her POV, and most people won't be saying that out loud at her face. So there is a pun here that does not work in Dany's case. - I don't agree that Dany is more promiscuous than Ami, judging, at least, by Ami's reputation. For instance, Dany has never been involved in a threesome. - Dany's promiscuity is not unknown. I cannot find the quote at the moment, but I do recall (exaggerated) rumours about her sexual exploits. Dany is famed, and has plenty of names to identify her already. The only people that need to give her insulting nicknames about her sexual relationships are those already looking to insult her.
