I think I found Neds bones

According to the appendix: "Shadd" is escorting Hallis Mollen and Neds Bones back to Winterfell. In all, they are four men. A captain and 3 guards. Shadd was trusted enough to go with Catelyn Stark to treat with Renly.

And in a feast for crows, we meet Shadrich. He is escorting a wagon. They are group of six men.

Assuming the theories that Shadrick is Howland Reed... That would would mean that Howland Reed got Robb's letter and was with Ned's bones (I think the bones are in the wagon) heading towards Duskendale. Probably taking a ship from there to the North (mayhaps to White Harbor). Interestingly, Shadrick is only escorting the bones to Duskendale. And then from there Shadrich goes to Sansa's side. Presumably to rescue her from Little finger (eventually). I wonder if it will be a tower rescue (ala Theon or Ned Stark).

I do not prove Shadrich is Howland here. But this idea further compounds on that idea (Howland for Robb's letter).

This is interesting because most people were looking for Hallis but, I don't know if anyone saw the appendix where it listed Shadd as the escort for Hallis.

To be fair we get no description of Shadd. So we're not 100% certain it's Shadrich. We only have their names which are similar.

What letter? The only letters Maege and Glover were carrying when Robb sent them to the Neck were letters w/ false intel, in case they were captured. So I’m not sure what you’re getting at here. Certainly you’re not talking about Robb’s will, the only other written material that is brought up in that scene, since there is no evidence at all that Robb sent w/ Maege and Glover. In fact, it would have been incredibly stupid of him to do that, since he is so aware of the risk of capture that he only gives them his actual instructions for Howland orally.

He gave instructions to Howland Reed before the red wedding. That's what I meant

As in, Robb sent instructions to Howland via what Maege and/or Glover told him?
It’s just that you said Howland had received Robb’s letter and I couldn’t think of any such letter.

Interesting, where is that now exactly?

Nice, poor Lady Dustin's vengeance. The Vale offers some of the most to speculate, since we have little from there in the Winds previews.

Cat mentions and interacts with Shadd a few times on their way south to Renly in aCoK. Descriptions or mannerisms of characters are usually established in a limited sense, depending on the POV. Cat tends to describe people by hair and stature or body type, especially if these features stand out. So, we know Wendel is the fattest man she ever saw with a mustache like a walrus, and Hallis is muscular and has a square brown beard. If Shadd had been a less than average height, Cat would have remarked on it.

I don't think I get your basic premise.

Is Shadd supposed to be Shadrich or is Howland supposed to be Shadrich?  I don't see how both can be true.

I don't think a crannogman can wander around the seven kingdoms and meet so many people unnoticed.

Even if we assume it is Howland Reed who is carrying Eddard's bones, how could he know of Sansa's presence in the Vale? And why should he do such a task when he lifted merely a finger to help Robb in his war. As you say he got Robb's message (through Lady Mormont and her companions)There must be some other plans indeed than just carrying Ned's bones.

Shad is Shadrich is Howland Reed.

Shadd is explained as one of The Winterfell Men:

A Clash of Kings - Catelyn II

She cradled the tea in her scarred hands and blew on it to cool it. Shadd was one of the Winterfell men. Robb had sent twenty of his best to see her safely to Renly.

There doesn't seem to be much of a way for Howland Reed or Ser Shadrich to infiltrate WF in such a way that the rest of the twenty guards don't realise he is an imposter, nor any reason for him to accompany Catelyn on this journey incognito.  Why not just announce himself and be treated according to his station as a Lord.  A Lord who has duties to look after his people at Greywater Watch rather than roam around the 7K like a crannog special agent.  All the unremarkable Shadd does in story is slice carrots, spoon porridge or make Catelyn tea.
