brook
I do not find either the length or tightness of the dresses to be even remotely distressing. I am distressed at not having a cherry blossom dress of my own though
Lany Freelove Cassandra
I wanted to choose wording that doesn't sound remotely judgemental of breast enhancement so I stand by artisanship even if the art isn't for me :PBack onto fashion I should be getting a distressingly short and tight black dress delivered today along with hopefully less distressingly short cherry blossom and raven patterned dresses. Got long torso for the latter 2 but not sure how much impact that has. They sound lovely!

karaddin
Of the dresses or me in them? The former I can do now, the latter will need to wait and probably never be forthcoming :p
Elder Sister
I love Pinterest for so many reasons, but one of the biggest ones is as a resource for fashion and how others are wearing stuff. I was on there at 3am this morning pinning all sorts of little gems. Karaddin, I want to see your dresses and you! :)
karaddin
Ok the distressingly short black one is for when it's colder, long sleeves and tights are REQUIRED (yes required Brook)http://blackmilkclothing.com/products/warm-grey-long-sleeve-dressAnd the raven, possibly worn with raven leggings. We are an odd couple that both like ravens, what of it?http://blackmilkclothing.com/products/raven-skater-dressAnd cherry blossoms are uncharacteristically bright, colourful and cheerful!http://blackmilkclothing.com/products/cherry-blossom-blue-skater-dress
Fragile Bird
Beautiful dresses, all! But they also fit my definition of distressingly short. :p
brook
They are exactly the right amount of short!
Whitestripe
Those are all really short... But you've got the legs for it so wear them!!

Tears of Lys
I don't think I ever wore anything that short even in the '60s and the days of the miniskirt! How do you not show everyone your privates? I'd be afraid to even tilt slightly, let alone bend.

Or always wear tights with them as well :P ETA: Those are all really short... But you've got the legs for it so wear them!!I've never shown off my legs in photos, has brook been gossiping?! brook
Bah you are all wrong, I'm not sure I own any dresses longer than most of those :p
karaddin
Yes dear, but you are 4'11" and both the models (probably) and myself are around 5'10", the dresses sit longer on you than they do on us :p

karaddin
They are all good, longer on me than the models... the one for the skater dresses must be at a couple of inches over 6' at least. They sent me the wrong cherry blossom one, black instead of the light blue. It's super pretty though, I'll try see if they'll give me a discount on fixing it by sending me the other one and I get both!
Robin Of House Hill
Pictures...you...dress, or it is just another internet hoax. PS. You're a braver soul than I, but go for it.

Those are lovely! Beautiful dresses, all! But they also fit my definition of distressingly short. :P Mine too :) And I used to wear some pretty short ones (I think I only had one that was "distressingly" short though  ( might find a picture...it was poor quality...taken at a con, but I don't think I wore it outside the room :P ) They are exactly the right amount of short! Indeed! Those are all really short... But you've got the legs for it so wear them!! One should always show off the legs if they can :) eta: I guess it wasn't that short after all, but it felt like it was :P

Gorgeous, all. Yes dear, but you are 4'11" and both the models (probably) and myself are around 5'10", the dresses sit longer on you than they do on us :P 4'11" ? Haha! I shall now make fun of you forever for being shorter than me, brook! :P So yesterday I was ambling through the mall with a friend, and she was very surprised when I went to buy a pair of pants from the kids/teenager section of the store. Size reasons aside, I've been doing this for years because you can find the same outfit for considerably less monies. Is this weird?
brook
My mum (who is both an inch shorter and a good deal skinnier than me) has bought a lot of stuff from the kids section over the years.I find I'm too booby for most of it to fit me right but I have bought both t-shirts and football jerseys from the boys section before and that works well
