peterbound
It does work :D Fluid stabilizers (much the same as energy drinks I gather, apart from caffein), as I think I have suggested in this very thread before, do the same thing. Salts, sugar, and potassium. The same you can use when you're dehydrated when traveling etc, which is often the main problem with hangovers. If your stomach is acid, take omeprazols (like losec) the day of the drinking, works 24 hours. I'm not saying that it's common practice, but if someone you know has access to zofram, an 18 gauge IV catheter, and a bag of fluids, that usually does the trick That or decapitation. Xray the Enforcer
Amputate at the neck ;) I've had a few hangovers where that seemed like the best option.
Lily Valley
FYI, Waking up to the smell of wet dog does nothing to cure a hangover. A shower and a 25 minute bike ride worked a regular miracle. This is going to be my new hangover regimen. All I need is 2 more cups of coffee and I'll be all set.
Grand Moff Mithrandir
Sprite? That's the first time I hear of this. The 3 glasses of water method used to work for me
Larry of the Lawn
What does not cure a hangover: ice cream for breakfast followed by hot yoga. or so they tell me.
KiDisaster
Two Advil with three glasses of water before bed. Black coffee, a bacon butty and a long, hot shower in the morning usually sets me straight. Or breakfast martinis if I'm on vacation.
