Supernatural 3

The plots beginning to get repetitive. There are still great moments but there are only so many times you can see one brother pissed off at the other. They never seem to learn lessons from season to season.

Then they occasionally do things like waste villains that could have been great, or completely undermine their own established lore.

Yeah I can imagine that. I suppose the show suffers from not having a precise ending and number of seasons in mind.

Not all shows can be as eternal and holding the long run as Doctor Who. Anyway, for the moment I enjoyed the first two seasons of Supernatural/

I thought this was hilarious. The network's attempt to "engage" Supernatural fans on social media has not gone as planned.

I don't have a Twitter or fb account so I rarely see these things, thanks for linking it.

But yeesh, ouch. I didn't realize the fandom was so angry.

The one comment about Charlie and Dorothy not hooking up doesn't make sense. Didn't Charlie hook up with another woman in an episode? Maybe I read.the comment wrong. I liked that they didn't make them hook up, but that's just me (two strong and independent women can just be strong and independent in my world).

I'm not sure I get the Dean and Cas romance either.

Some people read their incredibly close relationship as something other than platonic. It's not that hard in this fandom.

I sometimes have a feeling the only time ppl yell platonic relationship is only time it isn't platonic relationship and they yell relationship everytime when it's just platonic....maybe it't just me.

I don't mind repetition of some plot lines as long as there is some good new stuff there too and often there is, what I mind the most is messing with established lore and characters.

Seasons 1-5 are great

season 6 is bad with some of the best episodes

season 7 is bad

season 8 made me fan again

season 9 could be better but since it had Cain and Crowley and Cas and Abaddon I can live with it.

Maybe I should start from there then, from what I read on some sites the storylines after season 5 don't make much sense anyway so I wouldn't miss much :p

Like that you would for shure miss making up your own mind and you would be just following someone else :P

Rewatching season4, possibly the best one?

Just finished Wishful Thinking - Sam and Dean's best cover story "We're teddy bear doctors" "It's got lollipop disease".

3, 4, and the first half of 5 are all epic.

Wishful Thinking is awesome. Monster Movie is probably my favorite episode in season four. "Big Pretzel!"

ETA - After thinking about it, I'd have to go with season three. A lot of great episodes, but it had Mystery Spot, Jus in Bello, and Ghostfacers back to back to back.

Also just remembered this from Wishful Thinking - "Kneel before Todd!!!"

I agree. I really like 4 & 5 but I think season 3 is overall a level above the other two. Maybe its because it had less episodes, maybe they cut the not-very-good-filler episodes.

Nobody else saw the Nerd HQ '14? all four were there and All of them ere funny. Mark Sheppard was insanely crazy. The only real thing was that JP said he would like to do the show for at least a few more years, that it was good to be stable while his kids grew up a little more.

Quite the season opener. I might have to go back and re watch the final episode of the last season. I remember the big points. But this episode made me realize I've forgotten a few of the smaller story beats.

But yeah. Looking forward to hearing what others thought.

We need to see more of the changes to Dean to justify Crowley still being alive. Because if the Mark just makes you want to kill he's the perfect target.

The writers themselves chose to deliberately slam the door on cuddly,funny-sometimes-ally Crowley so they're gonna have to justify Dean's actions.

I couldn't care less about Castiel and yet another story of him dealing with the omnishambles that is Heaven.

Anybody else get the feeling that Demon Dean isn't all Demon?

I really wonder who that guy is? I think it is likely he is relative of one of the "people" that Dean "killed" (the reason the FBI was chasing them, like 8 years ago)

I assumed he is the brother of that possessed guy Dean killed in the gas station (the one Sam watched through the police camera). I could be wrong though.

Well his brother was in the military (in the picture we see of him) so I assumed his brother was one of the soldiers possessed by Abaddons goons a season or two ago.

It can't be the guy (demon) in the gas station as that was what put revenge-bob (I have decided to call him this for now) onto Deans trail. Or more accurately onto Sam's trail, who he's using to find Dean.

Anybody else get the feeling that Demon Dean isn't all Demon?

Didn't Crowley pretty much say this when he was explaining about sending demons after him to keep the mark sated?

I think it was said he's not gonna turn into demon as long as he keeps feeding the mark with killing around.

So how many of you think Sam will try to heal demon Dean? They should at least mention it me thinks. We saw healing a demon is possible so....maybe mark wouldn't let it though.

I liked the season opening but it felt a lot like just a set up paired up with some funny moments (which I appreciated don't get me wrong...hihihi porn guy...hihih) I liked the guy in the gas station,I laughed at his description of the events..."say...my...name"

It's good to see Sam didn't hit another dog on his way to find Dean. It also made me angry. Why did they put us trough all that in the first place.

I'm glad it's back,I've missed my boys.
