Seconded!

His best scene might be when Mr. Blonde cuts off Mr. Orange's ear.

That's a great one. Except isn't it the uniformed cops' ear he cuts off? I'd also throw in Tim Roth's carefully practiced monologue about his fake encounter with a drug-sniffing dog in the restroom.

If we're talking Reservoir Dogs, other than the classic Stuck in the Middle with You ear scene, I really love the beginning breakfast scene where they discuss Like a Virgin, Mr. Pink's no tipping policy, and Joe trying to remember who Toby Wong is.

I agree with a great many already said. For ones I don't think have been mentioned

The opening robbery and the killing of Jesse James in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

And the killing montages of the heist crew in Goodfellas and everyone involved with the scandal in Casino

And might as well second Ramsey's Raid 1 & 2 suggestions cause they're honestly some of the best choreographed fights in cinema

A lot of my choices are covered already but I'll add a few that weren't.

Shootout with the McManus bros and Il Duche in Boondock Saints.

Leo and Martin Sheen meeting in the abandoned building and the ensuing chaos in The Departed.

Elias dropping to his knees in Platoon.

Tommy and Billy Batts in Goodfellas.

Dark Helmet commanding Spaceball 1 to go to ludicrous speed in Spaceballs. Hey it fucking hilarious :D

Absolutely Ride of the Rohirrim in RotK - sends chills every time!

Luke hammering away at Vader in RotJ after Vader threatens his sister - so much emotion from Luke, The score in that scene is perfect!

The crane move in the final fight in Karate Kid - cutting away to the different groups in the audience - so much at stake!

Everyone loves the final shootout from Scarface but I think the best scene is the one from the restaurant.

You have no soul this scene doesn't get an emotional reaction out of you.

See the above caption.

I've always wanted to do this.

I like the whole thing but the last three or so minutes in particular.

It's just awesome.

Play for blood remember.

Nice. Also epic is the scene when the blast doors open to reveal to the rest of the crew that River's actually pretty handy with a blade or two, even outnumbered 50:1.

From The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947) Rex Harrison's character (ghost of a sea captain) telling Gene Tierney's character  (widow who has moved into his home) to live her life without him (after they've started to fall in love) all when she's asleep. Also the scene when they're on the balcony together. Just a beautiful romantic criminally underrated scene.

The bar scene from Wings of Desire when she's dancing to the post punk band playing on stage. And the suicide scene from Wings of Desire.

Will edit posts with youtube vids if i can find them later

This is a really overlooked movie , but I think it might be one of the best of the decade, its incredible in so many areas, especially visually. That train robbery scene is absolutely beautiful, the lighting and the timing of it all. Actually the whole movie is full of beautiful shots.

The ending to Last of the Mohicans, because of drama and music (Promontory).

Freedom/Execution in Braveheart, because of drama and music (Freedom/Execution/Bannockburn).

Opening credits of Princess Mononoke, mostly because of music (Legend of Ashitaka).

You're right. Mr. Orange is on the ground dying in that scene. It's been at least a decade since I've seen the film, but still, that's a bad mistake.

I really  love the scene in Goodbye Mr. Chips when Greer Garson appears through the mist on the mountain top.

And the scene in the church at the end of Mrs. Miniver.

The cinematography is great, but I remember it being really slow. Haven't seen it since it first came out though, so my memory of it is a bit hazy. I remember it looking really good, and was well acted, but a bit boring due to the pacing and really long runtime. I will probably give it a second chance at some point though.

Agreed. Everyone always talks about the cinematography from Jesse James (rightfully so, Deakins best work imo) but I gotta say Nick Caves score is one of my favorites from any flick. Beautiful movie all around.
