Second Game of Thrones Trailer Premieres

Westeros

what does this mean for the NW arc if they go to Craster's? first Jon has to recover from being shot, then defend the Wall from Tormund's group, then go to Craster's, then have the battle at the Wall with Mance's host? Maybe by going to Craster's, they can add some WW interaction and have the NW discover the wildling host and have to sprint back to the Wall and warn everyone. Hmm.

"Without context its hard to be sure"

Then you automatically knee-jerk to the 'Character assassination' line. I used to enjoy the Stannis arc. The level of Stannis trolling on this forum in ruining it for me

The internet in general has made me really wish Stannis would just die already so we can be done with this nonsense.

I think Tormund's group won't attack until episode 9. Neil Marshall said there will be three battles in different locations in episode 9, which to me sounds like an attack from the South, an attack from the North and Stannis' arrival. Jon knows that Tormund's group is basically decimated and will need enforcements (the Magnar and co), so they'll have time to attack Craster's Keep.

One may be Asha/Yara getting smashed by Boltons or King Stannis , whatever they're doing with her..

I remember someone said that the climaxes of this season wont be episode 9 like the previous ones ,but they will be distributed throughout the season.

I took that to mean there would be more big, shocking moments throughout the series, not that episode 9 wouldn't feature one. Joffrey's death, Oberyn's death, Tywin's death, I imagine they'll be in episodes other than nine, whilst nine itself will feature Marshall's bigass Wall battle.

I've been wondering where Mance is in all this. The timeline is really being skewed if they don't have the epic battle north of the wall. And if they do, as we are saying they will, wouldn't Mance feature in some scenes? I am also really bummed that Balon Greyjoy's death (I ASSUME they are still going to kill him) doesn't result in the arrival of Euron and the Kingsmoot. How can Asha have that spectacular and interesting failure without it? I have heard some say it must be postponed a season. I guess it could be, but a long time to wait for Balon to die, or else a long time to wait for the Kingsmoot after Balon dies. On the other hand, Season 5 could slow down or skip over the Arya/Sansa/Bran/Theon storylines and really deepen the involvement of the Iron Islands and of Dorne...I hope they keep at least the 3 older Sandsnakes in the picture, and the attempted assassination of Myrcella.

So hard to be patient!

What's all this talk about Coldhands? :O He's not supposed to be a WW, so if that's really him then I think it's wrong! I'm guessing the guy at the end is just your regular WW, about to pick up some quick lunch at Craster's.

It'll be earlier than that if Bran is to meet Bloodraven this season, and we know he's been cast and is in multiple episodes.

Haven't head this news. Who is going to play Bloodraven?

And if that WW is Coldhands, I am pretty disappointed at this point. That thing is clearly not a dead guy, it's an Other. Maybe they will make Coldhands into a rebel Other. It also kinda kills one of the popular theories about his identity.

Struan Rodger was cast as Brynden Rivers.

I guess the popular theory about CH is that he is Benjen, which seems to have been negated by Leaf saying CH was 'killed long ago' in ADwD.

Does anybody know what this shot might be of? http://prntscr.com/2tc530

The banner on the very left seems to be from House Frey, doesn't it? http://prntscr.com/2tc5ld

For me this woman being burned http://prntscr.com/2tc65k seems to be this woman who Melisandre is talking to http://prntscr.com/2tc6u8 . This implies that Asha won't be captured by Stannis that early. :)

I enjoyed Stannis' line, Sansa and Styr. Arya also seemed great as well as the overall visuals.

I still think it's the Magnar of Thenn or someone other than Cold Hands/WW/Other/Undead anything. Hell, Ygritte doesn't even have her bow drawn as he walks up to them, and Tormund doesn't lift his weapon....unless of course they already know him.

Still, he looks very much alive to me, and the scars look purposefully done...not like some deadly attack that caused him to die only to return as Cold Hands.

I could be wrong. But I'm going to stand by my thoughts and bet money with myself. :cool4:

EDIT: and after looking at it yet ANOTHER 10 times, he doesn't look like an "Other" at all.

Oh...and just realized you guys are talking about the dude at the end. That isn't Cold Hands either! Har! That's just showing the impending doom that is the White Walkers coming to eat all the children and men of Westeros!

Again, all she has to do is say she wants to pray.

I don't think that's why they did it that way at all.

In season 3, the Lannister's guards don't even let her pray alone, she probably pull that "act" just so Tyrion can leave her alone for a momment, we really don't know yet

Some Freys goes North with Roose in the books, it is ok to have their banner in that scene. (IIRC to be like in the books there should be Bolton, Frey, Lannister/Baratheon and Starks banners on Roose's army)

Yes that women in the pyre seems to be the one Mel is talking in the previous trailers (Waiting for people to claim she is Yara too LOL)
