Josefson scored a beauty. And Hossa notched his 1000th pt with a goal in Ottawa. Pretty sweet storyline.
Martini Sigil
I gotta get to some Devils games... I'm a transplanted NYer, and as such, a Rangers fan... but I'm a Hockey fan first, and I'm married to a Canadian... and the prudential Center is really easy for me to get to... I've heard it's s great arena. I'm a Devils fan, but I live in Ohio. I have to settle for Nationwide Arena in Columbus.
Demonblade
I saw the Devils/Jets game on tv last night, and I was astonished at all of the empty seats. It looked like they were in Miami or something. It's one thing if the Jets aren't the hottest ticket in cities, but that place looked empty. Nictarion
Apparently the attendance was 12k something. Not good. Still nothing like a Florida Panthers game though. I think the Panthers are only averaging about 8k per game so far this season.

Jabronius Maximus
Going to my first game this year. Edmonton must die :devil:We haven't beaten a western team this year, so I'm pretty sure it'll be a bus full of corpses heading to the arena. Jabronius Maximus
Tough news out of Columbus, with Nathan Horton's back problems. He says his life is a 'living hell' right now. If he were to get surgery, his career would be over. Poor guy :( Link to article
Nictarion
It looks like the Devils plan to ride Corey Schneider as hard as they used to do with Martin Brodeur. 18 consecutive starts for Schneider now.
kairparavel
So I'm catching Saturday night hockey for the first time all season and..um..HNIC..just uh..hm. I don't hate Strombo. I think he's great in that music/pop culture scene thing but hockey? I just don't get it.And I haven't really found any positive statements on it. MerenthaClone
Oh my god this pens rangers game is fucking stellar.E yessssssss! vvvvv Shame you only caught the end. The first period was good, but the last two were like a really tight playoff series. Just some incredible hockey.
Twenty of House Goodmen
Caught the end of the Rangers/Pens game. Rangers thought they won and both teams went to the locker rooms. Refs reverse the goal and then the Pens won LOL. Shootouts need to go.
l2 0 5 5
That ending was crazy. Curious how many people left Consol before realizing the game wasn't over.
BLU-RAY
Re: the Prudential Center - the Rock is easily the best arena I've been to in the NHL. Atmosphere's better a lot of places (Shark Tank, United Center, MSG) but the Rock is a great rink.
Nictarion
Hell of a HoF class inducted last night. Hasek, Modano, Forsberg, Blake, and Pat Burns.Hasek was easily my favorite non Devil ever. I loved watching him play. He was the most entertaining part of a lot of the games he played in. And for a goalie, that says a lot. Modano, probably the best American player ever.Forsberg was miles ahead of everyone else in his prime. A truly dominant player for a time. If not for injuries, his numbers would have been way higher. Glad Pat Burns finally went in. It was long overdue. Over 500 wins as a head coach, 3 Jack Adams awards, and a Stanley Cup.
Jabronius Maximus
Yeah I never understood why Burns got snubbed before. And yeah, great class this year. Makes me feel kinda old for once...In other news, the Preds are destroying the Leafs. I am very much enjoying this destruction.
