Hello World
The Scylvendi withdrew; the Sranc relented. A great rasping chatter passed through them, swelling into an impossible, keening roar. The Bashrag began beating the ground with their hammers. A churning blackness resolved on the horizon, a great whirlwind, like a black umbilicus joining earth and cloud. And everyone knew. Everyone simply knew. I assumed that the hammers in question are Bashrag phalluses?
Kalbear
The control problem of sranc being obedient would have made a lot more sense if they were like dogs, especially since they're the ones that are pack animals. Bashrag might be stupid but they means you want something even more controlling; you'd want to make them docile as hell. And we don't know about the wracu. They are weapon races but might not be. Wutteat might be a liar too.
Hello World
Wutteat does imply that the Inchoroi are his makers.
Kalbear
Maybe that's it then. The inchies that crashed basically only had the ability to make waifu because they're a bunch of brazzers. The wracu aren't controlled by wanting to fuck because they were made long before everything was porn. Now they've lost that art, so they go to what they have - porn stuff. Ties in well with the inchies being stupid and limited too. They weren't being smart to get around the AI problem - they were just incapable of doing anything else. Skin spies are just adapted fuck dolls that can change their appearance on a whim. That sort of thing.
Happy Ent
Oh, I absolutely assume this is the case. Assuming that Nonmen behave more or less like humans, sexually, it would seem to the Inchoroi the obvious decision to wire the subjugation behaviour of their weapons constructs to their sexual centers. If the Sranc or Skin spies had been built on the basis of wolves, say, other neural modules would have been available. Then we’d see the Thing called Sarcellus get floppy-eared and start whining when the Synthese is around. And drool at the prospect of violence. But we don’t really know enough about Bashrag behaviour. They just seem to be dumb brutes. I wonder if they build societies, fashion weapons, etc., like the Sranc. What do they eat? Can they feed themselves at all?
Hello World
Assuming that Nonmen behave more or less like humans, sexually This brings up an interesting question (and a serious one) do we know what color Nonman semen is? eta: Oh, I absolutely assume this is the case. Assuming that Nonmen behave more or less like humans, sexually, it would seem to the Inchoroi the obvious decision to wire the subjugation behaviour of their weapons constructs to their sexual centers. But you could say that since the Inchoroi are “the race of lovers” it would seem the obvious decision to wire the subjugation behaviour of their weapons constructs to their sexual centers. sologdin
bunch of brazzersalright, had to look that up--apparently a term for prostitute? dunno what the textual basis for the allegation might be, but were it true, it does offer some nifty parallels in the setting. Hello World
Sorry, but you can’t post something and then give the “ ” emoticon to yourself.Do we know why Fane was banished by the Thousand Temples to the desert? The glossary says that he went blind and started receiving the revelations after he went to the Carathay, but was he a prophet before that? I’m thinking about how one becomes a prophet. Is it that he was already “mad” by TT standards that made the chosen one to be a prophet? Like Kellhus going mad on the circumfix?

Sci-2
Wutteat does imply that the Inchoroi are his makers. I actually figured it was the opposite - he sees himself as equal to Sil, if not greater. Wutteat also has reason to fear damnation, unlike those dragons made from him.
