Little Scribe of Naath
No, I'm totally with you there. I don't even think we'll get the same ending at this point - it's more likely they go for the ending which is the biggest crowd pleaser (Dany marrying Jon and sitting the IT or something) AITOOAH who really wants to know more about Elia Martell, what kind of person she was ? House Crane
Definitely not. I'd love to get inside her head with a POV, though I doubt it would ever happen. AITOOAH who really wants to see Sansa win the lords of the Vale to her side with her badass bird warging abilities?
siyxx
Never thought of it but now that you brought it up, no that sounds quite awesome. I mean, Sansa did surprisingly grow on me and I want to see her badassery for once. Am I the only one around here who tried to warg into my dog the first time I've read about warging? RhaenysBee
Yes? I think so. I'm not sure. I never tried to warg my dogs. am I the only one around here who never really cared about warging and thinks it's a bit silly with so many characters being able to warg? Lady Blizzardborn
I'm sure there are others. I see the number of characters able to skinchange as being indicative of the increasing presence and power of magic involved, and as corresponding to the need. With the Others coming, they need every advantage and viewpoint they can get. Human spies are more likely to get killed and wighted. The birds at least stand a slightly better chance of not getting killed just for breathing. AITOOAHW believes that Ashara Dayne's death was faked? Raisin' Bran
I have had my suspicions about what happened after Ned's visit, and think I am on your side of the fence on this one. AITOOAHW thinks Theon could have killed some of those men inside Winterfell in ADwD (not that he was responsible, only that he was capable)? The Princess of Ghosts
You're probably not alone but it's a small party as I don't think he had the mental strength to kill anyone. Am I the only one who nearly blacked out from fear when reading the prologue of ASoS?
RhaenysBee
What is the prologue of Asos? Still, I would say yes, probably. Am I the only one around here who will miss Ramsay?
Dolorous Gabe
In the show? No. In the books? Yes. Am I the only one around here who googled "lamprey" after reading the books to find out what the heck it is and thought they looked like something out of a weird monster movie?
Little Scribe of Naath
I just googled it Goddamn, it totally looks perfect for some monster movie. Preferably starring Roose Bolton, because it seems like it could suck blood pretty well. AITOOAH who didn't want Viserys to die in the show, because Harry Lloyd was too attractive ?
RhaenysBee
Yes. Harry Lloyd is alright without the Viserys costume, but with it... Just my opinion. Am I the only one around here who never found Dolorous Edd (book or show) even a little bit hilarious?
House Crane
Oh you definitely aren't the only one! AITOOAH who thinks that the woman with white fire coming out of her hands in Aeron's dream could be Lady Stoneheart? (Crackpot theory of course)
siyxx
I don't seem to recall that dream right now but maybe, most likely, no. Am I the only one around here who wants to see Arya and Nymeria reunite and gloriously take down the bad guys together, wolves and all?
RhaenysBee
No, that would be nice. Am I the only one who would prefer to see Daenerys dead rather than married to Jon at the end?
Lady Blizzardborn
No, I'm sure I've seen that opinion expressed by others. AITOOAHW believes GRRM could put Jon and Dany together without making it some kind of sappy fairy-tale love story thing?
Annara Snow
No. I'm sure Jon and Dany's relationship will be important, since there's a lot of foreshadowing for it, but I see GRRM making it a really epic and tragic story, not a "married with children, ruling together" sappy ending that doesn't seem to be his style. AITOOAH who thinks Jon has an equal chance of dying at the end as Dany has?
RhaenysBee
I don't know. I mean I'm sure you are not alone, I just don't know what I think. Jon is one of the only two characters I don't see dying. Am I the only one around here who has zero enthusiasm for the message and watches/reads mainly for the story and the characters and the medieval fantasy world?
Little Scribe of Naath
Probably not. That's one of the things I love about these books, there's something for everyone. AITOOAH who thinks GRRM should have given Stannis a POV? If nothing, his internal thoughts would have been hilarious.
Ramsay B.
No, there are many around here who love Stannis. Personally, I'm glad we don't have a POV because I think hearing his inner struggles would take away from his character. AITOOAHW thinks Shaggydog is the best direwolf name?
RhaenysBee
Definitely not. I'm not a huge direwolf fan, but the name Shaggydog is priceless. Am I the only one around here who still doesn't like Jaime?
