All those beatings Liverpool have handed out to Arsenal in recent years seems to have had a mental impact. The Arsenal players look scared of Liverpool. Would like to see Klopp give Karius or Ward a run in goal. It took him a while to bring Robertson in and I think that he has looked more competent than Moreno. ljkeane Posted December 22, 2017 Share Posted December 22, 2017 Well that's two points dropped, Arsenal didn't look confident at all until they were gifted a way back into the game. Liverpool's defence has been weird this season. The narrative around Liverpool is their defence is rubbish but it's actually been fine in a lot of games, when something goes wrong they seem to crumble though. I don't whether it's lack of leadership or confidence or what. Anyway, hopefully that's the end of Mignolet. Karius hasn't looked too bad this year might as well have the job in the league too. Daemon the Leaner Posted December 22, 2017 Share Posted December 22, 2017 This game was so fucking weird, For about en hour, Liverpool was at the helm, Xhaka and Ozil and Firmino and Wilshere were bad. Five minute later, all of them were world class lol. But still, there is one thing that will always amaze me: the ease that Liverpoll has to collapse.
