Philokles
PSG once again failing to get over the line in winning Ligue 1. Drew 1-1 with Strasbourg, then taken apart 5-1 against Lille and now 3-1 down in Nantes. Dropped 7 points in 29 games, now on course for 8 in 3. And yeah Spurs would barely be considered favorites that’s why it’s a hot take. Origi starts for Bobby. Interesting
A Horse Named Stranger
Probably needs a break and/or Klopp wanted to reward Origi for good training performances.
Philokles
I'm surprised you didn't rotate a little more. I'd have started Shaqiri over Mane or Salah as it is unlikely Porto are coming back and there is so much to play for in the league.
ljkeane
Well this isn't overly encouraging for the chances of Spurs taking point off City on Saturday. City back level after 3 minutes.

A Horse Named Stranger
Not that surprising, Klopp apparently thinks Porto are still in this tie. He can take of Mane/Salah at half time or the 60 minute mark. This way he has the chance to bring in Firmino if he needs to. Anyway, 1-1 at City-Spurs. Soninho again. :') Edit: 2-1 Spurs Soninho, again.
ljkeane
Heh, that's more like it. Son with the away goal for Spurs. I'm not sure we actually want City to get knocked out though. ETA: I think they be gone though. 2 away goals for Spurs.

A Horse Named Stranger
Anyway, not perfect for Liverpool. Ideally they would've wanted to see City go into Extra Time.

ljkeane
Yeah, this isn't good. I think Spurs are going to get battered at the weekend. They just can't handle City when they put their foot down.
A Horse Named Stranger
Ok that should put the Porto-Liverpool tie to bed.
Iskaral Pust
Porto were hammering away at us but now we have the away goal. I think Mane and Salah should get subbed at half-time.
Philokles
Spurs sticking Llorente on for Sissoko when holding the lead sums this game up.
