ETA: Ok, I’m recapping this shit because it’s seriously unbelievable. Miami had a 3rd and 10 on Tech’s 30, up 3 with like 34 seconds left and G. tech had no timeouts. Instead of kneeling the ball they decided to do a running play. Of course the dude fumbles and Tech recovers. On further review the hb’s elbow was DEFINITELY down but they don’t overturn the call. No bid deal. Tech’s anemic offense can’t do shit. They have 26 seconds and need to go 75 yards. 2 crazy bombs later(seriously watch them)and Miami choked away a game like I’ve never seen. Amazing. College football is uniquely booming right now, and though there’s no singular reason why, I can think of two: the transfer portal and NIL. That's an interesting stat. I think for the average sports fan, seeing the biggest names getting bigger and more attention probably does drive viewership.
