The Motorola Physical Science Labs and Digital DNA Labs in both Tempe, AZ and Mesa, AZ had numerous scientific instrumentation servers named after his characters and locations from these and True Names. His portrayal of such environments was the best and most realistic one I ever read until Walter Jon Williams' Days of Atonement. Larry of the Lawn Posted April 3 Share Posted April 3 RIP John Barth. Loved Lost in the Fun House when I had to read it on college, and recently grabbed The Sotweed Factor at goodwill. I read about 20 pages waiting for my gf to pick me up and loved it, looking forward to picking it back up when I finish a couple other things.
