Westeros
It’s been awhile, but George R.R. Martin has provided a casting clue on “Not a Blog”. Given the end, it’s clearly for the role of Mace Tyrell, Lord of Highgarden… ... and some quick work on the Internet already points to British character actor, writer, and director Roger Ashton-Griffiths, who fits all the particulars in the clue to a T. He’s appeared in a wide range of films and TV programs, including Brazil, Gangs of New York, The Tudors, and <em>A Knight’s Tale, and will be appearing in Grace of Monaco in the role of Alfred Hitchcock. CrypticWeirwood
Why is the punctuation always messed up in your posts?Edit: It's fixed in the quote. The punctuation is always screwed up because something wicked is double-encoding his Unicode punctuation characters into UTF-8 twice. It’s probably some sort of Microsoft bug, if experience is any guide.
Ran
Yeah, haven't been able to crack why the app that takes the RSS feed and renders it into posts keeps doing that, but it is definitely an encoding issue.

DarkAndFullOfTurnips
http://www.hotflick....iffiths_001.jpgOh, that rings a bell for me now, thanks. It's been a while. This is one of those cases where I'll just hope the actor does a splendid job since he looks very different than I imagined.
samih
Good casting. Still think Brendan Gleeson is the perfect Mace though.
Werthead
I think Gleeson would look the part but his attitude could better used in another role. Heck, he's 10 years younger than Patrick Malahide (surprised by that), so what about a role like Victarion? It'd have to be a fairly big role to attract his attention though.
