[Book Spoilers] Rant and Rave without Repercussion

All the times the camera panned back to Olly. One would have been MORE than sufficient.

I would have rather Sam and Gilly gotten together not because he just defended her from a potential rape but as a natural progression of their relationship, or as consoling after Aemon's death. Not a fan of the pairing really, but that would have been better imo.

Not sure what happened with LF and Olenna. LF got Lancel to confess to the HS? What power does LF have on Lancel? And why wouldn't Lancel have confessed to everything back in episode 1 when he joined the sparrows? It would've been so much better if the young boy LF was talking about was Gendry and he uses that to prove the incest

Aemon's body on that fire must have been the worst photoshop I've ever seen on primetime TV.

That's no exaggeration. It was so amateurish that it almost ruined the most sentimental moment of the episode for me.

I'm sure he did, and that the High Sparrow conspired to hide the fact that he confessed in order to blackmail Cersei into helping with the FM's persecutions. It was actually one of the smarter moments of the episode.

Absolutely yes!

Porne, of course, but damn Tyene is a fine looking woman. Still, waste of screen time.

I didn't like the small scale slave auction and fighting pit. I get annoyed when I see everyone walking. Despite the talk, this act is one that puts everyone on equal level, no matter what is their social status.

Ghost appearing was nice, Ghost not being with Jon, not so much.

What gift did Littlefinger gave Olenna? It seems to me that Lancel wasn't really his to give.

Yeah the Neon Sign Of Stabby McStabbums above Olly is annoying. I would prefer it if they kept us guessing with various guys instead. Like, the show seems to be attempting this with Thorne still being a butthole. But...the constant pans to Olly just kill it.

Gilly getting D&D's Yet Another Rape Attempt moment. Can you not, D&D? Honestly? Fucking...these guys cannot write. Its all "SAVE HER FROM RAPISTS!" fuck. That was really the hair in the soup this episode.

Sand Snakes were kinda meh. I feel like no one knows how to write these ladies.

Jaime being Mr. Hurrdurr is getting old.

I didn't think Dorne could get any worse, but I was wrong. The sand snake and Bronn dialogue would have been bad if she had kept her clothes on. When she started strip teasing, me and everyone I was watching with just busted out laughing at how bad it was.

It's funny how Ramsay's rape tendencies has to be true to character, but calling him a bastard multiple times to his face doesn't provoke any violence. I guess Sam isn't going south any time soon. Seems unlikely he would live long after that confrontation. Nothing like escaping an attempted rape and beating to get you in the mood for some sex. Melissandre wisely didn't mention Balon when bringing up the power of king's blood. Still waiting several years later for that one to pay off. How did those slavers even stay in business when they let Tyrion strike and then beat a slaver with no retribution and Mormont strike his master with no consequences?

There were some things I liked. I do appreciate Tommen at least discussing why he isn't sending his army in. Of course he hasn't even tried to command the faith to disarm yet. And the accusation by a squire is still incredibly stupid. It was cool for Ghost to show up. The High Sparrow did a pretty good job with what he was given to work with. They did a reasonable job with the Cersei imprisonment and taunting Margaery.

I was thinking the same thing! I even paused it to try and figure out what the hell I was looking at.

In other news, I did actually like the episode (feels weird to say that). Far from perfect, and their magical well of plot fairy dust **cough**RAPE**cough** is beyond having run out....

Really? I'm surprised you thought these things....

HAHA! I'm just joshin' ya......those obvious things need some fine-tuning indeed

Dorne. Everything else was great but Dorne is ugh. Dorne is to Game of Thrones what Ireland was to Sons of Anarchy.

dorne sucked a lot less than it did the last couple times. I...ummm... enjoyed bronn and the sand snakes. I did laugh a bit when Mycella said something like " why is this happening" cause i've had the same question about the dorne story this season.

So, did anyone expect Jorah to say to the crowd, "Are you not entertained", What a cheap fucking rip off of Gladiator. Also, let's bring the queen that has outlawed slavery to come watch the slaves fight to find out which one gets to go to the fighting pit. I mean, they try to pass this off as "this is tradition", but I'm calling bullshit plot trick to get Dany and Tyrion together faster.

Probably the best (least offensive?) episode so far. To keep it brief:

Things I liked:

-Ramsay flaying the crone. Fuck you and your League of Grannies. Give us the Northern lords!

-Tyene's rack

-Stannis actually talking about military strategy and White Walkers.

-Allen's acting.

Things I didn't like:

-Everything else.

-Stannis not mentioning Balon being alive when Mel brags about killing Robb and Joffrey.

-Jaime-Myrcella scene. Very cringe-worthy.

-The Bat Signal.

-No one mentioning Stannis's Essosi mercenaries until now.

-Said mercenaries being the worst mercenaries ever with 500 of them deserting after one week of marching. To go... somewhere? I guess? On their own, in the middle of a storm, with no intervention from Stannis? Apparently they were willing to cross a continent to fight, but a bit of snow was just too much.

-That Sand Snake scene was REALLY dumb. Jesus.

-Sam and Gilly's scene. Just... what the fuck.

Are you referring to the 'handsome young man' he mentioned? I think that he was talking about Sweet Robyn, though I'm unsure who he would plan on marrying him to.
