Ferrum Aeternum
Most of my favorites have been mentioned - the Elder Scrolls games and Mass Effect series in particular. Heroes of Might and Magic II and III definitely belong. Some of those castle themes (HOMM2 here in a list, HOMM3 here in one vid) were extraordinary. To throw a curveball (and in honor of its soon going F2P), I present a personal favorite of mine - WildStar.
Gears of the Beast
I used to overlook it but the ambient soundtrack for the DayZ mod was amazing.
Lord Davos Baratheon
There are lots of great soundtracks, it's hard to pick one... Some of the best ones have already been discussed here. One of my favourites is the Arkham City soundtrack. The whole Arkhamverse is filled with awesome music. I would definitely recommend listening to the Main Theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXKrsJZWqK0 Very Nolan-esque. Guess that's part of the charm for me. Lyanna Stark
Oh there is only one for me, and it always gives me shivers. The main theme for Dragon Age 2. I mean sometimes I just boot that game up to hear it. DA Origins and DA Inquisition main themes are great too. The only other music from computer games I really, really like is Lament of the Higborne from WoW The Burning Crusade. In fact, I had a version of it as my ringtone for *ages*. I loved Warcraft 3 as well so it really felt like TBC brought some closure to that storyline when it came to Sylvanas at least.
Sullen
https://youtu.be/QGmhtFgoAGA?t=2h25m9s NieR. Game is complete weebshit, storyline is cliche and emotionally manipulative, gameplay is a repetitive bore, visuals are completely uninspired, and yet I still play this game once a year. The game gets my recommendation out of its soundtrack alone, it's that good. The final tracks are especially poignant.

IamMe90
I always enjoyed the songs from the Suikoden series, especially 3 and 5. Only one Suikoden mention, damn! Probably cuz those games were so undersold despite how damn good they were for the JRPG genre. Interesting choices though - I thought they were both very well made but lacked a lot of the spirit and emotion that oozed from 1 & 2's soundtracks. 2 especially, was so memorable to me. Case in point: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WTid8JtN24&list=PLiTmi6152qXNVzgsHSpCs30W_ZifIRQhK&index=90 best boss theme ever to one of the most intense RPG boss fights of all time (also just FYI, according to the official OST I have the track title is actually "Cornered," not "The Chase")

BearFrog
Tons of great game music out there. Obviously, Square Enix has contributed a lot of great game music with Xenogears, the Chrono series, the Final Fantasy series. I'm going to submit a lesser known game with a great soundtrack, Brave Fencer Musashi. Check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTefaZXXBlo&list=PL60E25445A0C657E9

Ravness
Pleasantly surprised to see Chrono Cross, Xenogears, and Suikoden mentions. There is an orchestrated arrange album for Xenogears that came out a few years ago. Some tracks are a miss, but I love "Flight"
The Anti-Targ
Mass Effect 2 and 3. My favorite is Suicide Mission from ME2. Yeah, I love that piece. It really loved hearing it on the boot up screen, it got me so pumped for playing the game. Musically perhaps not the best, but it fits the game so very well: Uncharted It sounds like an action movie soundtrack and that's what it's meant to be. I hope they use it for the actual movie even if it ends up being the best thing about the movie. And God of War music fits with the game very well. and for a bit of a laugh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqBx32KtMZ8
