Bluetiger
It's year 196 after Aegon's Landing....King Daeron II Targaryen gathers his supporters while King Daemon I Blackfyre starts war later known as First Blackfyre Rebellion....YOU are a lord or a knight of Westeros. Which side will you chose?Weak but kind and educated Daeron II "the Good" Targaryen or young and strong king Daemon II Blackfyre? "In truth the war broke out because the seeds had found fertile ground because of Aegon the Unworthy. Aegon hated the Dornish and many Lords and Houses who spent centuries at war with the Dorne longed for the return of those days. Many great warriors looked on dismay on a realm no longer at war and did not like a peaceful, scholarly king who filled the court with learned men, Septons, Dornish and women. They looked at Daemon and saw a Warrior. Many lords and knights with grievances against the Iron Throne soon sought Daemon out."If you chose House TargaryenYou will be on the same side as:-King Daeron II Targaryen- Brynden Rivers "Lord Bloodraven" - prince Baelor Targaryen- prince Maekar Targaryen - hundreds of lords and thousands of knights- House Arryn- House Caswell- House Hayford- House Lannister- House Lefford- House Martell- House Penrose- House Targaryen- House Templeton- House Webber- House Waynwood House ButterwellHouse HightowerHouse LothstonHouse OakheartHouse TarbeckIf you chose House BlackfyreYou will be on the same side as:- King Daemon I Blackfyre- ser Aegor Rivers "Bittersteel"- ser Quentyn Ball- many lords , great heroes and thousands knightsAnd:House BrackenHouse CostayneHouse OsgreyHouse PeakeHouse ReyneHouse ShawneyHouse StricklandHouse SunderlandHouse Yronwood House ButterwellHouse HightowerHouse LothstonHouse OakheartHouse TarbeckYour choice can change the result of the war! So who do you support and why?
Knight Of Winter
Daeron II all the way. He was not weak, he was in fact one of most competent kings that ever sat the Iron Throne. Daemon Blackfyre, on the other hand, comes of as such a jerk. He lived the privileged life, he was not oppressed or endangered in any way, his welfare was secured... so why the hell did he have to start of war? I honestly and genuinely hate and detest petty warmongers who plunge countries into war for no good reason. In addition, there's this whole fact how Daemon and people around him mocked books, intellectualism and mental labor of any kind.
WildfireKing
Daeron II. He was the rightful king and the better one.
Alternis Dim
Daeron II. He was a good and competent king. Daemon was a great warrior, this does not necessarily mean he would have been a great king
King of Winters
I feel there's some slight biaism in the OP. Anyway, I'd support Daeron II, he was a good king and the rightful one, no one questioned his legitimacy for years. Daemon may have been the better warrior, but that probably wouldn't have made him a better king.

The only one willing to try and claim the throne in a way thag avoided the loss of countless lives and ruining the Kingdom. The rest of them were petty, over-ambitious men. Daemon's justification was very weak, considering the breaking point is supposedly Daenerys. The man was married with many children, is he never satisfied?ETA: and I agree, Daeron II was quite clearly a great King. And the very fact that Aegon IV, who was an absolutely awful man and a worse King, preferred Daemon tells me all I need to know tbh
Veltigar
I will follow Baelor Breakspear wherever he leads me. Daeron II is the rightful King.
JonCon's Red Beard
Daeron II. Even if he had not been Aegon's son. In fact, I would support him more if he hadn't come from his infamous prolific trouble maker dick but Aemon's.

I completely agree with this! Reading about him in The World of Ice and Fire made me hate Bloodraven almost as much as I hate the Freys
HexMachina
Yeah. I mean I am quite a fan of Bloodraven, but couldnt get on board with that I am afraid. Be nice to see him reference it to Bran, actually, in the upcoming books.
The Bastard of Walton
House Blackfyre. Which is technically house Targaryen anyhow, as they where legitimised.
HexMachina
House Blackfyre. Which is technically house Targaryen anyhow, as they where legitimised. Nope. They chose to remain Blackfyres, so Blackfyres they are. The Karstarks were once Starks, but that doesn't mean they are Starks now
mino
Daeron II. Daemon was a warrior not a king.
DigUpHerBones
Aegon IV, despite being a complete and utter POS, did give the family sword to Daemon for a good reason. Homeboy was an asskicker. Did Daeron even pick up a sword in the war? NOPE, he relied on Brynden to do the heavy lifting and commanding while Daeron pranced around in Dornish garb, reading , more than likely. While Daemon was "fighting like the Warrior himself" and after defeating Corby of the KG in single combat, did he then take the opportunity to attack Prince Maeker? NOPE, he nobly defended his defeated opponent's injured body. "inhumanly" beautiful, strong, tall, and leads by example. Sounds like a King to me, sign me up for Daemon ANY day of the week. James Arryn
Well, with the OP phrased as it is, I am for racism and against peace and education! What other choice is there?
Consigliere
Neither. I would sit back, relax, and let the inbreds fight it out.
