Iskaral Pust Posted May 7, 2016 Share Posted May 7, 2016 I'm so happy to be finally heading back home after a long business trip to the UK, which took up my entire week, and half of each weekend before and after. And although the trip was pretty pointless (these exec leadership trainings are probably more relevant to colleagues who don't already have an MBA from a top tier school) but I managed to redeem it by attending Liverpool vs. Villareal with my dad and brother as their Father's Day and 30th birthday gifts. Sometimes happiness is just relief from exhaustion, tedium and missing your wife & son. The bourgeois pampering in business class is just gravy. I organized me and 8 other close friends going out today to a grill restaurant, well it was awesome, but not only did we have great food, they surprised me for getting my diploma(not for high school, something else) recently by paying for my meal AND they gave a me a gift that I didn't tell anybody I wanted, I wanted to buy it eventually but was postponing it, the gift was a The World of Ice and Fire book haha. I'm in a better mental state than I've been in for a while myself. Also, today I finally learned to play Go, it's a fun game. Though they said they'll take me back on when I'm back home from uni for Christmas too.
