Zorral
https://www.politico.com/story/2017/11/20/net-neutrality-repeal-fcc-251824 Quote Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai will reveal plans to his fellow commissioners on Tuesday to fully dismantle the agency's Obama-era net neutrality regulations, people familiar with the plans said, in a major victory for the telecom industry in the long-running policy debate. The commission will vote on the proposal in December, some seven months after it laid the groundwork for scuttling the rules that require internet service providers like Comcast or AT&T to treat web traffic equally. If there's one thing that should unite Americans its a general hatred of telecommunications companies. This is one things for which we definitely can hold the Clintons fully responsible: his telecommunications act of 1996 enabled this bs. http://www.truth-out.org/news/item/34789-democracy-in-peril-twenty-years-of-media-consolidation-under-the-telecommunications-act

Mexal
Another situation that surprises no one. Schneiderman wants to investigate 100,000s of public comments using false (or real identities) that are required by law to be taken into account and FCC is completely ignoring him. IheartIheartTesla
Conyers, Franken, Filner.....it is depressing to me that most of the cases coming out of Congress belong to the Democrats. Add this to the Clinton discussions and I'm pretty much sick of politics right now. How hard is it to do right by many people AND the individual? Time to burn the house down (no pun intended). Bonnot OG
https://www.politico.com/story/2017/11/21/trump-census-pick-causes-alarm-252571 The Census Bureau is usually run day-to-day by a career civil servant. Trump's reported pick for the spot? A controversial professor who wrote a book titled: "Redistricting and Representation: Why Competitive Elections Are Bad for America.” Great...........Regarding net neutrality, you can support groups like the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the ACLU and Free Press who are fighting to keep Net Neutrality:https://www.eff.org/https://www.aclu.org/https://www.freepress.net/https://www.fightforthefuture.org/https://www.publicknowledge.org/https://www.demandprogress.org/ Also, Ajit Pai's number is 202-418-1000. Bombard him with calls and messages and make his life as miserable as possible.

I think that women who are harassed by Democrats may know they're more likely to be believed, and to force an apology (or resignation) from a Democratic Congressperson than a Republican. Democratic congresspeople fear their constituents will throw them out for allegations of sexual harassment, whereas Republicans are less likely to do that. For example this recent Quinnipiac survey: Quote If a political candidate has been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women, would you still consider voting for them if you agreed with them on the issues, or would you definitely not vote for them? Republicans: 43% would consider voting for them Independents: 28% Democrats: 12% This isn't terribly surprising, since far more than 43% of Republicans DID vote for a political candidate who has been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women. Fragile Bird
Moore's people are hitting back hard on his accusers, basically finding people who can contradict major points in their claims. Details like the dumpsters were at the side, not the back, the restaurant had a porch around three sides and was well lit, there were houses behind the restaurant. That the restaurant never closed at 10:00 because they stayed open for the shift that was just getting off from the Goodyear plant. That no one under 16 ever worked at the restaurant. A statement from the head of security who says he would have heard about Ray Moore's actions and he was never banned from the mall. That there is no 'around the corner' from her mother's house, there wasn't a corner for a mile. That her mother and her step son both say she's a liar. And an appeal to the people of Alabama not to allow themselves to be fooled by the liberal media, by Mitch McConnell, by the Democrats. That the Fox poll was fake news, a poll from yesterday shows him 6 points up, and he was never ever down. it was actually quite powerful.

Well, gee, since Filner already had to resign as mayor of San Diego in 2013 because of sexual misconduct and pled guilty to guilty to false imprisonment and battery then, it's not like learning he also was doing similar stuff when he was a congressman before he was mayor is adding anything new to the number of sleazy Democrats we know about. He will be so mad if Jones wins. Trump explicitly backing him is going to put Moore over the top. Authority drives most Republicans. If that authority says it's okay to vote for a child rapist, then it's okay. Bet you $5 that the next polls taken after this statement have Moore up by about 5 points.
