I’m finding most supermarkets are coming back to normal levels of stock now, provided you don’t leave it too late in the day. I think they are only restocking at night to allow for easier social distancing (customers not crowding staff as they restock). I’ve been able to get pasta, toilet roll, rice, tinned tomatoes etc, all week mid-late afternoon. maarsen Posted April 4, 2020 Share Posted April 4, 2020 Well I went shopping and flour is back but no yeast. I have been baking bread since I was a kid. Anyway I used some of the yeast I do have to make a sourdough starter. This is not my preferred way of making bread but it will do. As for soap, we still have lots as we bought a large jug of soft soap well before all this. If worse comes to worse, I will be making soap also at home. I already had some, but I bought two more for restock, and then another two more, so I have 6 jugs of the stuff. The small ones, not the large ones though.
