We speculated then that it would be something fans would get to look at within a month… and as it happens, to the very day of our post, the season 2 teaser has been released by HBO. See it below! Besides this, yesterday HBO released a pair of new character posters featuring Rhaenyra and Alicent… and now today they’ve released quite a few stills or on-set photographs from the new season, to whet the appetites of fans. Hopefully he can keep it up with the minor details that breath life into the world he's trying to show. I thought the not having the heraldry be more prominent for minor houses was one of the biggest mistakes on the original series. It could have really helped casual viewers remember who certain characters were and especially with all of the re-castings of Ser Gregor, it could have helped with recognition. Is that something that entertainment companies normally do? Is it just because people on Reddit were saying The Boys trailer was better? HOTD is clearly more tailored for Twitter than Reddit. (Side note: we really may be entering the era of video game adaptations. I haven’t even watched The Witcher, but there’s no denying that fanboys are clamoring for more of them, judging by the buzz around Fallout.
