But the St Louis area lost the Rams because Stan Kroenke is an actual hellbound demon in human skin, and Americans need their NFL. So tonight my town is rabidly cheering on the Chiefs. A little disappointing to have that missed kick at the end, but at the same time, I think KC scores even if the fg was through to make it 27-27. Mahomes and Allen both played awesome. Most everybody I knew loved them while they were in the midst of that four-straight losing streak in the Super Bowl. In my adult life I've been pretty indifferent, but there's been a noticeable change among my immediate family. Even though we don't live there anymore and haven't for nearly 20 years now, both my brother and father have been rooting for the Bills the past few years since they've become competitive again. I still remained unmoved, except tonight...man, they just can't get over this Chiefs hump in the playoffs, huh? Even I'm starting to feel bad now.
