Rippounet
Tough question. The US has consistently been among the top ten contenders for the title, despite fielding a single team. Of course, I'm mostly thinking about 40k, I don't focus on WFB or FOW. In a one on one, the US would have to deal with players from Germany, Sweden and Poland, whose teams it has had trouble defeating in the past. Plus, even though France has not always reached the top ten, their team has scored second in 2016 and, most importantly, you just can't defeat them in the field of painting. So... A big big advantage for Europe I think, unless the US brings more than one team, in which case it'd be closer to 50-50. http://etc-events.eu/event/6/
Stubby
The USA has historically won more than Europe. But there have been some memorably close matches. There was that time that the Euros accused the USA of running all over the green to celebrate their bloke's putt and trampling it with the European guy to still make his try. I think the next one will probably be the Europeans' to lose.
Theda Baratheon
What are you all talking about how did you get any info from the OP? bcus I'm just sat here thinking up various scenarios that this could be referring to. If zombie apocalypses happend simultaneously in USA and Europe - who would cope the best!?

Zombie apocalypses, alien landings and natural disasters always happen in the USA, so that it is always a US American who saves the world - have you not been watching the movies? No really, I do not have an idea what the OP is talking about either. But as for me, I think the quality of life is better in most of Europe. I like my free education, state health insurance, the person who got the most votes getting the be the president, etc. Greetings from a tiny post-socialist land (almost) in the Balkans. The BlackBear
Clearly Europe, the USA Men's team is 6th in the world and the Women's 7th, every team above them is European except for Canada in the men, and Canada, Russia, and Japan for the women. The BlackBear
Just now, Buckwheat said: Are you talking about bellringing? Is that even an Olympic sport? Obviously not, that's not even a contest. North America (including Canada) has less than 60 belltowers, England has more than 5000. Spoiler It isn't a sport at all, you have striking competitions, which is kind of musical performance type thing. There was an attempt to get it registered as a sport, it was fiercely (by our standards) discussed, nonsense if you ask me (which no one did.) Rippounet
Ok, let's take the OP seriously. I think the US has a huge advantage for eating contests. I don't think Europeans can compete with Americans when it comes to how many hotdogs, hamburgers or pies one can eat in a limited time. For the drinking contests on the other hand, I would say Europeans would win hands down. With the beer drinkers (Germans, British, Czechs, Belgians... ), the wine drinkers (French, Italian... ) and the Eastern Europeans who can kill entire bottles of vodka or other spirits, I don't see how the American teams would be able to compete. Of course, beer pong is an American tradition, but come on, most European students can down whole bottles and barely blink...
