@Meera of Tarth @RhaenysBee I hope you are both feeling better . I feel like I’m getting a cold too.

UK politics: The tale of an old (Ber)crow who flew down from the cuckoo's nest...

It’s funny really given how Corbyn is so Euroskeptic and May isn’t. The number of strongly pro remain Tories is only 20 ish?, ok I admit I’ve not read up on it a great deal but I always thought it was far higher?, or is it more a case of only 20 or so are willing to defy the party line?.

Is it wrong that I’m jealous of some of mini Siths winter outfits , they’re just so adorably cute.

I wonder if the numbers are there for a majority on another referendum given that I expect Labour has a greater number of MPs that favour remain, the SNP and Libs do too, the real question is how many Tory MPs really favour remain or at least another referendum, I’d think it was a great deal more than 6, or I’d hope so anyway!. Would such a vote be possible without being proposed directly by a party leader?. Also if we did have another referendum I wonder if we would get a remain win this time?, seeing how badly the Brexit negotiations have been handled must have put some people off leaving.

I have a few but my favourite winter coat at the moment is one of my fiancées ones and I’m always stealing it, much to her equally finding it cute and annoying at the same time . Ugh, things going really fast in a work environment are never fun!.

Star Wars Thread: I KNOW WHAT THAT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I agree, I also just find his brand of villainy too angsty and irritating. Ok I’m a self confessed Palpatine fan girl but Kylo and Snoke just can’t compete with him or Vader as villains. I can see why some people were dissapointed with Lukes role in the film but I quite liked it myself, the whole astral projection thing was really cool.
  7. Only in the main books?, no going back and preventing the dance of dragons then? .

I didn’t mind the film overall, unsurprisingly my criticisms of the film aren’t about Luke or Tran. Mostly they’re about Kylo being an embarrassment to the dark side.

Ugh below 0 , I hate it when it gets so cold!, I really feel the cold, my winter coat collection is sizeable . I hope work settles down for you, what are the problems there?.

To be fair though it’s equally unlikely that Corbyn would be able to form a government if there was an election either, the result would most likely still be a hung parliament with the Conservatives as the largest party. For the record I think both main parties are equally as inept as each other at the moment, I’ve never heard of a situation where parliament has been at such an impasse. How May can carry on is beyond me, the only way I can see this going is another referendum.

She’s doing well, we’re going out to see friends soon so it will be a little adventure for her, I’m trying to get excited about going too, but really I just want to curl up in a ball and cuddle a hot water bottle right now!. Also @HelenaExMachina I hope your gran and dog make a full recovery, my gran wasn’t well a few years ago and it was really horrible but she recovered and is good now, I’m sure yours will be too . Oh and you’ll ace your exams, you’re clever!.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far . Mine is not off to the best of starts, I feel all ugh and crampy and have a very energetic mini Sith to deal with today!, plus yesterday my new car wouldn’t start when I wanted to go to the supermarket so they’re sending someone out today and I’ve got to wait for them to come, which is good I suppose I’m a way because I really don’t feel like doing much .

I don’t come to this section of the forum that much and I missed this at the time, so firstly I want to apologise if this brings up feelings you had dealt with. Secondly I really want to offer my sympathy and support to both you and your gf, I had a miscarriage in 2015 and really relate to the feelings of loss, grief, helplessness and guilt that you both must feel. All I can say is try not to hold yourselves responsible, unfortunately and very cruelly it can happen sometimes. Now, as a mother to a very happy, healthy and bouncy one year old, I can say, you guys will get there, and nothing will bring you greater joy or happiness when you do .
