JonCon's Red Beard
Stannis, what the fuck are you whining about? He's more of a minimalist type of guy.
Twenty of House Goodmen
Stannis would whine if he was married to both Daenerys and Arianne.
Talleyrand
I'm going to add the death of Aegon and Quicksilver to my list - I just love seeing the size difference between the Black Dread and the younger dragons
SeanF
She looked so dignified and powerful, heartbreaking. What is it with Targs and making kids watch their parent's deaths? That is a stunning picture. Rhaenyra's determined to show no fear in front of her son. Aegon's going frantic, trying to save his mother.Whatever faults Rhaenyra had, lack of courage wasn't one of them.
SeanF
I suppose is kinda hard to portray Dany because she's still a child who is considered beautiful and suitable for marriage. She was 14 when the dragons were born. How to make that without making it look like some sort of child pornography? l:That's the problem. Dany is a stunningly beautiful child. She's 13-16 in the books, but she's small and slender for her age, so probably looks 12-15. Most artists will quite understandably depict her as a stunningly beautiful woman in her late teens or early twenties. I think it would take someone like John Singer Sargent to paint her accurately (and to reflect her self-doubt, bordering on self-loathing),

Corvinus85
I haven't read the whole book yet, but so far Dunk vs The Laughing Storm takes the crown. Might as well attach it to the definition of badass.
SeanF
That's a horrid picture of Aerys pronouncing sentence on the Darklyns. You can see the horror and astonishment on the faces of Lord Darklyn and his wife.
l2 0 5 5
Just noticed the Aerys ll photo where he's sitting on the Iron Throne looking quite sadistic (middle-aged Aerys, not the about-to-die Aerys), and I think that's a great portrayal of him. I normally think of Aerys as he's withered and about to die, and rarely think of him when he's a bit younger.

Jon's Queen Consort
I have noticed something; In the ToH painting next to the woman (Elia) over the Martell banner is a woman (Ashara?) who looks like Eva Green in Kingdom of Heavens http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1573620736/tt0320661?ref_=ttmi_mi_all_sf_15who people in TUMBL are fancasting as Ashara.
