Lily Valley
This is absolutely incomprehensible to me. To most people, a really bad hangover is a horror and a great sleep is a blessing. For your kind, it's somehow both? I'm terribly sorry to say this, but I think you must be studied for the sake of science. The normally requisite consent form will be skipped in this case. It's really very simple. I'm TIRED. People with insomnia are just not busy enough. I have been schooled that sleep is one of my superpowers. I can sleep anywhere at anytime. Alcohol just ensures that I don't go to hell when I do sleep. I get wonderful open-mouth snoring, bed-hogging, sweaty, completely uninterrupted sleep. The hangover sleep gives me awesome, warm, fun-dream, paralytic, padded and comfortable sleep. My hangovers can be so bad I have extreme paranoia and I feel guilty for getting drunk in my own house. I also feel guilt for every single other decision I have made in my entire life. I often have terrible muscle fatigue, intestinal disruptions, puffy red eyes and I also REEK of alcohol through my skin, not breath, SKIN worse than anyone I have ever met except my mother. I can re-radiate the smell of a single beer for 24 hours. So, it's a trade off. Edit: Tomorrow's aroma is a mix of red wine, whisky and PBR. Should be a fun combo to fight. Larry of the Lawn
My Hangover Prevention Routine (1) Chug 2 to 4 glasses of water before bed (2) Fill up dogs water bowl so she has to pee and wakes me up to go out so I don't sleep late. Also, see #3 (3) Hope dog wakes me up before I wet the bed (see #1) (4) Upon waking, consume hair of the dog (not the real dog, I mean drink another beer) (5) Smoke some plants recreationally, take a hot shower. (6) Half hour of mild cardio, enough to break a sweat. Use your imagination, drink more water. (7) The birds are chirping, the sun is out, and all is well in the world. eta: Oh and if that all doesn't do it, bacon and eggs, and another drink. Larry, I also find that "mild cardio" is a wonderful hangover cure. Based on 3, I have repositioned which room you'll be in when you stay here. The dog welcome too. You are adorable, and I say this because there is no possible way that people tell you this enough. Thank you, I'll take cute drunk anytime. IN RELEVANT NEWS: I AM DAYDRINKING! It is pouring down rain here ensuring that I get one day off this week. so happy!

Larry of the Lawn
Waiting on a bunch of douchebag contractors to pay me for stuff going on 60 days now. So what do I do while I wait? I shotgun PBRs. My dog is giving me that Great, he's drinking those cans again look. If anyone here has talent or even just enthusiasm for illustration, I've written a few shirt comics about my dogs reaction to how I spend lonely nights. Feel free to PM me if you're up to the task.Lily, she's housebroken, and she helps stay more housebroken than not. The two of us had a great time in NO in 2009. all swedes are racist
Well, pardon me for saying, Trisk, but that hardly sounds scientific. I think we need a much larger sample size (*looks around*; check), with a control group (*raises hand*), and most importantly some fat ass grant money. Oh yeah, party's on the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations dime tonight!
Guest
Of course, of course. The inescapable conclusion is that more research is required.

Larry of the Lawn
Proper chuffed to find out I had 5 beers left instead of only 3 today. Wait chuffed is a good thing? I need to visit across the pond to learn words. Chuffed sounds like it would be bad. But five is better than 3. I am drinking boulevardiers on board recommendation.
